Afterwards, may I be satisfied without weariness by the nectar of speech. Thus, this praise to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha, complete with knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, Tamer of Beings, Supreme, Teacher of Gods and Humans, Shakyamuni Buddha, called "Blessing of Approaching Near," was written by the one holding the treasury, named Jampal Gyatso (Manjushri Ocean), at the request of his disciple, by the glorious Losang Drakpa (Good Fame), the Garongpa (of Garong) of great learning, in the Lhashol (valley) of Wode Gungyal (Mount Wode Gungyal), the lord of the snow mountains in the land of snow. The scribe was the holder of the treasury, Bhadrapala. ༈ Homage to Guru Mañjughoṣa (藏文,梵文天城体,guru mañjughoṣāya,梵文罗马拟音,Teacher of Melodious Voice). Whoever sees and speaks, Whose wisdom and teacher are unsurpassed, The Victorious One arises dependently, I bow to the one who sees and instructs. However much the world declines, Its root is ignorance, Whoever sees and reverses it, Is said to arise dependently. At that time, the one with intelligence, The path of dependent arising, How can one not comprehend, As the very essence of your teachings? Thus, protector, to you, Through whose door of praise, Other than speaking of arising dependently, What wonder can one find? Whatever depends on conditions, That is empty of inherent existence, What better way than saying this, What better way of teaching is there? Wherever the children are held, Firmly making the bonds of attachment, That itself is the door for the wise, To cut off the net completely. Since this teaching is not seen elsewhere, Therefore, you are called the Teacher, Like a lion compared to a fox, To the Lūṭaka (a kind of heretic) also like a mute. Emaho Teacher, emaho Protector, Emaho Supreme Speaker, emaho Lord, To the Teacher who speaks well of dependent arising, To that one, I now pay homage. Beneficial one, for the sake of beings, You have spoken for the sake of benefiting, The heart of the teachings is emptiness, The reason for certainty is unparalleled. The way of dependent arising, Without contradiction or non-establishment, Seeing this, how can one, Comprehend your system? When you see emptiness, As the meaning of dependent arising, Inherent existence is emptiness and,

Acting reasonably is also not contradictory; if one sees the opposite of this, thinking that one cannot act in emptiness, and that if there is action, there is no emptiness, one is said to fall into a dangerous abyss. Therefore, in your teachings, seeing dependent arising is praised as excellent. This is also not completely non-existent, nor is it existent by its own nature. It is like a flower in the sky, without any dependence. Therefore, without dependence, there is no existence. If the essence were established, then its establishment would contradict dependence on causes and conditions. Therefore, apart from arising dependently, there are no other phenomena. Similarly, apart from emptiness of inherent existence, there are no other phenomena. Because inherent existence is irreversible. If phenomena had some inherent existence, then nirvana would be impossible, and all elaborations would be irreversible. Therefore, the absence of inherent existence, with the roar of a lion, is repeatedly proclaimed in gatherings of the wise. Who could refute this? The absence of any inherent existence, and the fact that this arises from that, all these establishments, these two rationalities, are not contradictory, let alone aggregated. By the reason of dependent arising, ultimately one does not rely on any view. This is the reason for your, protector, unsurpassed speech. All of this is empty of essence, and from this, this result arises; these two certainties, mutually, become helpers without any obstruction. What is more amazing than this, and what is more wonderful than this? Praising you in this way is true praise, otherwise it is not. Those who are bound by ignorance as slaves, if someone argues with you, and cannot bear the words of emptiness of inherent existence, what is surprising about that? The precious treasure of your teachings, after acknowledging dependent arising, cannot bear the arrogance of emptiness. I am amazed by this person. The door that leads to the absence of inherent existence, the unsurpassed name of dependent arising, if one clings to inherent existence merely because of this name, then how can these beings be led to the flawless entrance, which the noble ones have already walked well, that excellent path that pleases you? Inherent existence is unconditioned and independent, and dependent arising is dependent and conditioned; how can these two be aggregated on the same basis without contradiction? Therefore, whatever arises dependently,
