The beautiful waist, devoid of dryness, slightly bends to the left. Upon the lotus moon, with a graceful stance to the right, possessing all-encompassing majesty. The right hand bestows supreme gifts, like clouds showering nectar, fulfilling the hopes of the hungry ghosts. Untainted by hundreds of faults, represented by a white lotus stalk, the left hand holds it to the heart. Merely seeing, hearing, and remembering, one is led from the mire of existence. Khasarpani (Avalokiteśvara), may you never depart from my mind from this day forward. ༈ Namah Shri Guru Manjughoshaya. Sanskrit Romanization: namaḥ śrī guru mañjughoṣāya, Literal Chinese Meaning: Homage to the Auspicious Guru Melodious Voice). Gentle in nature, constantly moistened with love, yet burning the roots of black karma. Although cutting the bonds that are extremely difficult to cut, yet binding tightly with compassion. Although constantly possessing the equanimity of peace, yet cherishing others with self-grasping. Respectfully bowing to the feet of Jamyang (Manjushri), I praise Mipham Gonpo. The four faces are greatly praised from the mouths of many. The thousand eyes constantly gaze with joy. The lord of the goddesses, abandoning pride, bows down. I respectfully prostrate to the feet of the regent. Like a hundred-petaled lotus in a joyful sea, upon which the light of the sun shines. Like the lord of stars in the pure sky, like a jasmine garden. Merely seeing the body adorned with a garland of marks and signs, it captivates the minds of beings. May the lotus feet of the loving protector adorn the crown of my head in every lifetime. The retinue that subdues demons is free from all fears. The incomparable hero, the supreme teacher of the three realms (desire realm, form realm, formless realm). Constantly watches over beings who have fallen into distress. Guide, I prostrate to your feet. Unobstructed entry into limitless objects of knowledge. With the power of wisdom, subduing the fierce armies of demons. Like young flowers struck by hailstones from the sky. You are adorned with the glory of the ten powers of the victorious one. Crushing the heads of arrogant, opposing elephants. Proclaiming with the great sound of eloquent speech in the midst of the assembly. Cutting off the foxes of evil speech. You are the lion among men, possessing the four fearlessnesses. The father of the world, towering with pride, and the subtle lords, ascetics, Brahmin, etc. You turn the supreme wheel of Dharma that none can speak of. You are the protector who loves all beings. Body and speech have no name of error. Memory undiminished, constantly abiding in equanimity. Without discriminating attachment, with abandonment. Because of solitude, your actions are completely pure. Intention and diligence.

Recollection, Samadhi, wisdom, and liberation, You have long removed all opportunities for decline. Therefore, your realization is unsurpassed, Knowing all three times without obstruction. The activities of your body, speech, and mind are perfectly pure, As long as samsara exists, for the benefit of beings, You engage with joy in the burden of activity. The accumulation of vast qualities is perfectly complete, Cutting off even the opportunity for subtle faults to arise. Those who have become the object of your love, Speak from the mouth of lamentation, please listen for a moment. The boat that liberates from the great ocean of suffering, Although it is a human body with leisure and endowments, It is defiled by the faults of carelessness, laziness, sleep, and idle talk, And by the desire for gain and honor. Using meaningful things for meaningless purposes, The excellent body for easily accomplishing great things is wasted. Having the form of a human but the mind of an animal, I beseech you to look upon me with compassion. Although having obtained the rare and meaningful leisure and endowment, One sees the arrival of the powerful messengers of death, who cannot be turned back by force nor escaped, And the condition of being seized by old age and sickness. Yet, without remembering that at the uncertain time of death, One will abandon everything and depart, The years, months, and days pass in vain. The time has come for compassion for me, who am utterly deluded. Needless to say, the state of definite goodness, As the support for the path, praised by the Able One, I have no confidence in even obtaining the state of heaven. Have you abandoned me? Even if one obtains a body endowed with the glory of heaven, If one does not find the excellent, unerring path through the wisdom that properly analyzes the scriptures, One will again fall into the ocean of samsara. Therefore, obscured for a long time by the thick darkness of ignorance, One is completely confused about what to accept and reject, and the state of things. I beseech you to grant me the lamp of wisdom. On the blazing iron ground, flames burn and a rain of weapons falls on the body. The messengers of Yama cut down trees with sharp blades, pour molten copper, and nail the tongue with pegs. In the icy caves surrounded by snow mountains, blizzards strike. Some develop hundreds of blisters, some burst, and the body is cut into many pieces. The face is covered with hair, the mouth is dry, and no water is seen.
