Regarding oneself, there are five things. The place for actualizing is wherever the boundary is set in a monastery, etc. Moreover, being surrounded by curtains, walls, fences, ditches, etc., also constitutes a boundary. The distinction made by the owner is: just as the intervals of non-two owners are different, so too, being only one owner, it will not become different. To show this, it is said to be the owner. What is not unique is: two or many. The interval is: the door of the house corridor and the fence, etc. Because these are shown to be different in reality, it is shown that one owner is not different. The so-called fruit of composing the sutra refers to the necessity of composing this sutra. That is to make many owners understand the common punishment. What is that? Because it is common to them, explanations are given for doors, etc. Here, the meaning of the differentiating scripture must be determined. For this sutra, refutations will not be collected, therefore it is said, "Also combine it after the following sutra," referring to this sutra of "not unique," the refutation of separating from this difference is not the main content to be expressed, but it implies that one owner is not separate is the main thing, so it is said to combine it after the following sutra of "not different." However, the above sutra does not merely collect the refutation of separating from the Dharma robe because the places are different, if that were the case, the following sutra "from property" would not need to be collected. Therefore, it is necessary to combine it after the following sutra showing the difference, so the meaning of the first sutra is that it needs an implied non-different one. The so-called "from property" means that if property and views are the same, then these places will not be different, which is to eliminate the previous doubt that "if there are other two owners, then the boundary in between will be different," even if there are more than two owners, if property and views are the same, they will not be different, and if they are different, they will be different. Showing that the owners are those places that will not be different is because it is certain that the places are the same, so there is no need for doubt. Some say that for householders, property is the same but people are different, and if they are renunciants, then the same and different of the three of view, name, and discipline, it should be examined whether the latter needs three or not. The place where the result arises is: branches and hard branches not touching, etc., and

As for "branch" and "leaf," in order, the branches of a single tree, if the small branches do not touch each other, they will separate due to their differences. Even if they are different trees, if the branches and leaves touch each other, they will not separate because they are considered as one. This illustrates that point. The meanings of the root of the root and the other three should be sought. The place of generation is "corner" and so on, the meaning of this should also be sought. The place without boundaries is "boundary," such as houses and other places without boundaries, the edge covered by limbs such as hands and feet is the edge of that place. The general provision for the surrounding area is: the surrounding area is up and down and in all directions, one fathom each. The special provision for the city gate of a town is "wall," which is nine fathoms, six fathoms, and three fathoms respectively, which is also based on the order of the size of enjoyment, represented by the work of chariots, goats and sheep, and dusters. If a town has all three, it is said that it stays overnight because it is long, like swelling. The first two of the first and the first of the third have divisions, and the middle two and the outside of the third have explanations such as the surrounding area for practice. Those are the surrounding areas that belong to the scope of the place because they can be started. The place that is only for close use, and the surrounding area that is close is that place. The surrounding area that can be quickly passed through is "without boundaries," such as temples and so on. On the demarcated road, the boundary itself can be set. A person is a symbol, that is, the clothes and dust before and after, and all the remaining, up to that node is the surrounding area. Those are one fathom each. Because this is a special provision, start measuring forty-nine from the direction where the body is pressing, not from the edge of one fathom. The place and the surrounding area are the same, starting from the middle, although this is said for trees, it also applies to things like the top of a city that are connected, and things that are connected with ropes, so it is generally stipulated and so on. This should also be examined whether it is the same or not for holding and viewing the same measure. In the request it says: Blessing depends on oneself. Turning into fragments of vows. Because it does not leave oneself, it is believed that fragments of vows have blessings. The measure is not mentioned. When the three robes are blessed and become the measure covering the three wheels, any one has it.
