It is said that even when going to the city for alms, countless kinds of food were obtained. Two hundred and fifty meditators, and the same number of reciters, along with five hundred monks, were able to live without worry. Because he excelled in poetic composition, becoming the best among poets, the words and meanings of his treatises were extremely fine, even the teacher Dharmakirti could be satisfied. Due to the circumstances of the master, he combined the deeds of the Tathagata with great poetry, and not only praised listening and debate, but also widely expounded the methods of cultivating the mind of enlightenment, etc., with excellent insights and outstanding treatises, the work of propagating the Dharma was very extensive. In his later years, when King Kanishka sent messengers to invite him, he declined the invitation due to his advanced age, but instead wrote a letter, guiding the king to embrace the Dharma. He sent his disciple named Yeshe Nyenpa to be the king's teacher. Without relying on the scriptures and story texts of the Sutra Pitaka, but rather through the oral transmission from Khenpos and Acharyas, he intended to compose the Jataka tales of the Buddha, possessing ten sets of ten lives, combined with the ten perfections. When he had completed thirty-four Jataka tales, in the first Jataka tale, due to the circumstances of the story of the tigress giving her body, his life was influenced by other factors, or rather, he himself became the standard for measuring the immeasurable courage in the conduct of a Bodhisattva. He saw a tigress followed by her cubs in the deep forest, suffering from hunger, and began to give his body. At first, he hesitated a little, but then used this as a messenger to inspire faith in the Buddha. First, he drew blood from his body, wrote seventy aspiration prayers, and fed them to the tigers. Later, he gave up his body, and it is said that the thirty-fourth Jataka tale was therefore interrupted. Although he originally intended to complete all the compositions, it is said that because the teacher was eaten by a tiger and the model could not be found, it was not completed. But since the lineage of transmission still exists, these have been preserved without verification. Although this teacher was a Mahayana practitioner, he did not favor only one side, but equally benefited all beings.

Therefore, even the Shravakas were convinced, and he was highly respected as the crown of all Buddhists, with a very great reputation. It is said that this King Chandragupta's son, named Heart Essence Point, first appeared together with the one who was born in the Gaura region. When Dharma Chandra, the son of his grandson, ruled, the Turkic army destroyed Magadha, and great damage was also done to glorious Nalanda. When King Sangye Chok, the son of Dharma Chandra's uncle, was alive, he sent some Sutra scholars to China. He raised the banner of victory over the king of the Tajiks and ruled over most of the lands under the sun and in the west. He restored all the Buddhist sites that had been destroyed and propagated the Dharma for about forty-four years. In Nalanda, two heretical beggars arrived. Some careless monks sprinkled them with washing water, squeezed them between the door frames, and drove away fierce dogs. The two became very unhappy, one vowing to provide food, and the other vowing to practice the sun. So, he entered the ground and practiced for nine years without success, and when he intended to come out, his friend said, "Everywhere is threatened by famine, I have worked hard to provide food, and if you come out without accomplishing the mantra, I will cut off your head." Saying this, he drew a sharp knife. The man was afraid and practiced for another three years, finally succeeding, and then began the ritual of fire offering. Just by reciting the mantra from the burning ashes and scattering them, the fire ignited itself. Eighty-four Buddhist temples were burned down, especially the great hall of glorious Nalanda, where all the Mahayana Dharma was kept, Ratnasagara, Ratnadadhi, and Ratnaranjaka, all three were burned. Ratnadadhi had nine stories, and a large stream of water flowed from some of the scriptures on the top floor, extinguishing some of the flames, so some scriptures that were not burned also appeared, known as the treasure of the Vidyadharas. The two heretics, fearing the king's punishment, fled to the northern region called Hasama, but due to the power of their sins, their bodies burned and they died. Similarly, the teacher Nagarjuna also travels in the southern regions.
