Now, the steadfastness of entering his lineage was taken away, and the path of escape was cut off by the knowledge mantras. Seeing that the time for taming had come, he was placed in a skillfully convenient prison in the monastery. There, he read the scriptures, Saw the sutras prophesying himself, and greatly regretted what he had done before that was not beneficial to the teachings. His faith in the Buddha increased greatly, so he renounced and was blessed as a great paṇḍita holding the three baskets, unrivaled, the great teacher Warrior Foot. Such a noble teacher eventually went to the southern region and greatly benefited sentient beings. He extensively expounded the meaning of liberation, wrote countless sutra and tantra treatises such as the Four Hundred Verses on the Middle Way, and made great contributions to the teachings. In a place near Kañci called Raṃganāthā, he entrusted the teachings to the wealthy bhikṣu, the holder of the three baskets, Rāhula-bhadra, and then passed away. He was one of the four great ones, praised by prophecy, the teacher Mati-citra or Warrior, who praised the supreme teacher. Warrior was the ten daughters of a merchant in the city of Khortana, all of whom had faith in the Three Jewels. The youngest daughter went to the house of the wealthy Brahmin Saṅgha-guhya, and gave birth to a son named Black. Because he was very respectful to his parents, he was also known as father-slave and mother-slave. He became proficient in the Vedas and its branches. Because his mother did not believe in Buddhism, he wanted to enter the Buddhist sect, but due to his father's influence, he became a follower of the non-Buddhist sect. He was very sharp in the practice of mantra tantra and logic. He practiced the great god Īśvara, who actually prophesied and gave three siddhis. He vowed that if he did not win the debate, he would let Īśvara himself enter his heart. Therefore, his arrogance increased greatly, and he went to places such as Kāmarūpa, Tirahuti, Gaura, and Auḍibisha, and defeated the Buddhists in debate. Some were placed in evil views, some had their possessions taken away, some were made to pay homage to the heretics, and so on, he became base.

He was then subdued. His mother, having taken refuge in the Three Jewels, thought: 'If this person goes to Nālandā, he will surely be defeated by the lions of debate, the accomplished mantra practitioners, and thus enter the Buddhist path.' So she said: 'Son, listen, the Buddhists of other places are like the hairs on a horse's ear, but the Buddhists of Magadha are like the body of a horse. If one cannot conquer the people of Magadha, it is difficult to gain a reputation for debate.' So he went to Magadha. Having gone there, whoever raised the sharp sword of debate was blown down by the asceticism of the victorious side of the noble teacher, like a violent wind. His face of arrogance was greatly ashamed, and he attempted to jump into the Ganges River to kill himself. The noble one immediately spoke words of dissuasion. At that moment, the strong aspiration of the past from the scriptures of the Tripitaka became a force, and he realized that his own view was wrong. Bound by the regret of slandering cause and effect, he appeared to be about to use a razor to cut off his tongue. At that time, the noble lady prophesied, saying: 'Enter the Buddhist teachings and offer many praises to the Buddha, and your karmic obscurations will be purified.' So he became a holder of the three baskets (Tripitaka). In order to confess, he composed praises to the praiseworthy, and many works such as the 'One Hundred and Fifty Verses.' At that time, the non-Buddhists and Brahmins said: 'Like this, even the most excellent and invincible Kṛṣṇa among the Brahmins has abandoned his own tenets like discarding tiles and pebbles, and is entering the Buddhist teachings. Without a doubt, the Buddhist tenets are very wonderful!' In this way, from that lineage, more than a thousand from each group of non-Buddhists and Brahmins were ordained even in glorious Nālandā. The praises composed by him, also due to the blessings of the Buddha himself, spread throughout all regions and villages, and even singers and comedians proclaimed them, becoming a single vehicle of fragrant scent that attracted the faith of all beings.
