Because of craving wealth, if the reward was not given, they would punish. He gave his own salary of five hundred gold coins to the Brahmins. He also took seven thousand gold mine tips from the Yaksha in that direction and gave them to the young Rola, and that night he fled. There, he posted a notice at the place where there was a king named Duma Risu, proclaiming who wanted to debate. About five hundred people holding the tenets of the six views gathered. After debating for three months, he raised the banner of complete victory over all. There, he ruled by the power of the king, and put everyone into the Buddha's teachings. He had about fifty wealthy people each establish a Buddhist monastery. That news became a thorn in the heart of the Brahmin youth Rola, and he himself came with five hundred attendants to debate, saying: If I win, make the life of Dharmakirti the remainder of a name. If Dharmakirti wins, then it is me, thus he proclaimed to the king. The Acharya said: If my debate fails, whether to kill, beat, or imprison, the king himself knows, but if I win, do not kill the young Rola, but let him enter the Buddha's teachings. In the debate, on top of the five hundred unique vows of the young Rola, the Acharya analyzed in detail with hundreds of kinds of refuting reasonings, the young Rola and his five hundred attendants despised the asceticism of being obsessed with ashes, and offered to the Buddha's teachings in a main way, and the attendants also became monks. Similarly, the leaders of debate, such as Kanadadoru, and all those who raised challenging hairs from the caves of the Piercing Mountain, were also placed in a place of silence. Afterwards, he went to a place called Vadrali, where he also proclaimed debate to the heretical groups there, because in front of the firelight of complete victory, the heretical flower-eaters were not able to approach, they fled like a leopard in the midst of wild animals, and some turned to offer flowers of shame. All the ruined monasteries in that place were also restored.

He accomplished it. While dwelling in meditation in the center of the forest, at glorious Nalanda, a heretic named Samgha Acarya sent sharp thorns of argumentative speech, thereby cutting the ears of the panditas. So they diligently prepared to invite Master Dharmakirti from the south, and set a time, saying, 'We shall debate next year.' After some time, King Rabsel gathered all the Brahmins and heretics at Varanasi, and in the presence of the king, including the landowners, openly declared that they would engage in debate. The heretics said, 'In our country, you must choose whether to jump into the Ganges or convert to heresy. If you win, then we will throw our lives into the Ganges.' Having declared this, they set up a great battlefield of debate. At that time, whatever vows, promises, and tenets needed to be proven by Samghara were refuted, examined, refuted, and negated by the sharp intellect of glorious Dharmakirti, repeatedly destroyed and utterly defeated by the great wheel of the four-membered army, and reduced to silence, placed in their respective territories. At that time, Samghara, extremely angered by intense pride, said to his disciple Bhatta Acarya, 'Summon the courage to defeat this shaven-headed renunciate! Even if you cannot win, it does not matter, we will take birth as your son and fight again with the asceticism of debate.' Although the teacher dissuaded him, he did not listen and jumped into the Ganges, abandoning the stream of life. Many of his disciples, controlled by the seeds of previous purity, were able to enter the Buddhist order, while the rest easily abandoned the steps of eternalism and nihilism, fleeing to distant places. At the end of that year, as it is said, Samghara also took birth as Bhatta's son. Bhatta Acarya also again pleased the deity he desired for three years. For three years he contemplated the reasoning to refute the Buddhist tenets. In the seventh year, he again established the doctrine as a witness as before.
