A strange thing happened, causing doubt about the location of the assembly. Having heard that he had gone to the city of Kaliṅka in the Triliṅka region and was staying there, three paṇḍitas went and requested him to go to Nālendra, but he did not grant it. They asked, "Which of the three scripts that you each record in your own way is correct?" He replied, "The one used by the people of the central region." They further asked, "Then what do you mean by saying to look at the Śikṣāsamuccaya and the Sūtrasamuccaya?" He replied, "In the window of my room, there is a book written in small paṇḍita script on tree bark, bring it." In that place, there was a monastery with a forest, and he lived there with about five hundred monks, and he fixed the forest animals that came to the room with magical powers, not letting them leave. The monks saw the animals go into the teacher's room, but did not see them come out, and the monks also knew that the number of animals was decreasing. Later, when they looked in through the window, they saw the teacher eating meat, and the monks began to oppose him. The teacher revived those animals again, and those animals that had regained their vitality and strength returned to the forest. Later, he abandoned the marks of an ordained monk and lived a life of non-discrimination. When he came to a doorway, a person's foot-washing water splashed on the teacher's feet, and that person saw the teacher's feet boiling as if they had touched red-hot iron. Later, in the territory of the king of Baṭī Bihāra, a heretical paṇḍita named "Joy Maker" came to debate internal and external doctrines and challenged magical powers and miracles. The other Buddhists were frightened. At this time, the person who had previously seen the foot-washing incident remembered it and thought, "Surely there is someone who can stop this debate." So he went to see the teacher and asked him to compete with the heretics in magical powers, and the teacher agreed and reported the matter to the local king. The king erected a throne in a place where many people had gathered and had them debate internal and external doctrines, and the teacher won. The heretic immediately drew a huge colored powder maṇḍala in the sky, and the teacher with the wind of

By abiding in samadhi, the mandala and the heretics were scattered like a strong wind, and he went to the other side of a river. There, the Dharma flourished greatly, and that place was also known as the "Land of Heretic Defeat" at that time, but due to the power of the times, it is uncertain whether that name still exists today, and scholars also talk about it. In addition, there are also stories of seven wonderful deeds, such as supporting the lives of five hundred people holding special views and thousands of heretics, participating in the battles of great strife, and reconciling through miraculous powers. Pandit Bhuti Chandra said in a way that is different from other thoughts and behaviors: "For the teachings of the Victorious One, he is a great master. Although many great men have appeared, one cannot find someone with experience and thought like the God of Peace." Just as he said. He became the jewel on the crown of all rationalists and one of the six ornaments that adorn Jambudvipa. The great teacher, glorious Dharmakirti, is from the place of Kanchi Nagara near the southern sea, or a name of the place of Tri-malaya, which is famous both internally and externally, or a place called "The Jewel on the Crown of the Victorious One" in front of scholars, during the reign of King Simha V, it is said that he was born into a Brahmin family. From a young age, he studied very diligently, and due to the influence of his caste's religion and his father, the heretic Kunturu Ruzanta, he mastered all the heretical tenets and reached the peak. There, when the Brahmins especially praised him, when some tenets that were considered to be true teachers entered the path of guidance, he realized that his teacher was flawed and that the scriptures were also deviating from the path of liberation, so he became a lay practitioner with devotion. When the Brahmins asked him the reason, he told them the praiseworthy places, so he was expelled from their residence. There, in the central region, he was ordained by the teacher Dharmapal and became proficient in the three pitakas. He also recited five hundred sutras and dharani mantras.

Although I listened to many other treatises on dialectics, I was not satisfied. Later, I listened to the Collected Works on Valid Cognition (Pramāṇasamuccaya) once from Vasudeva, a disciple of Dignāga, and I became equal to the teacher. After listening twice, I became equal to Dignāga. The third time, Vasudeva also recited the erroneous points that Dignāga had not fully understood, just as they were. The teacher was very pleased and said, "You are equal to Dignāga! Refute all the erroneous tenets and write a commentary on the Collected Works on Valid Cognition." He received this permission. The mantra teachers, although their desires were different, all considered Ḍeṃ gipa to be reliable, so he received proper empowerment from him. By practicing the supreme deity, Heruka personally revealed himself. When asked what he wanted, he said, "I wish to be completely victorious over all directions." He asked, and Heruka disappeared with a laugh. After that, he continuously praised Heruka. After a while, in order to completely defeat all the heretics, he wanted to learn the secret doctrines of other schools. So, he disguised himself as a servant and went to all the regions of the south. He asked who was the most proficient in heretical doctrines. They said, "It is the incomparable Youthful Player." Earlier Dharma histories consider this to be his uncle, and say that he did not marry young women, etc., but these statements are not certain. It is said that this heretic and the followers of Shiva, etc., defeated Śakyarakṣita, Guṇamati, and many disciples of Dignāga in debate, and seized their power and wealth. At that time, the Youthful Player had obtained power from the king, and had abundant fields of rice, herds of cattle and buffaloes, and five hundred male and female slaves each, and a retinue that lived on milk and rice. So, he went there as a servant, and all the work was done by this teacher alone, and the heretical couple were very pleased. They asked him what he wanted, and he said, "I want to hear the tenets of the school." So, they enrolled him as a student. There were some secret doctrines that were only taught to sons and wives, and he pleased those people and mastered those doctrines. In the end, he knew all the key points of the school, and he completely mastered the methods of refuting other views. Finally,
