La! Grant a few instructions. The instruction is this: Thus it should be explained, possessing the meaning that encompasses the essentials, possessing refutations and connections, possessing the meaning of the words. Thus it should be explained, spreading out the main body of the Dharma to be explained. The essentials are condensed into the meaning, possessing refutations and connections, possessing the meaning of the words. Thus it should be explained, spreading out the main body of the Dharma to be explained. The essentials are condensed into the meaning, refuting wrong views with refutations, connecting relations with connections, and establishing with three aspects of examining the meaning of words, namely definitive and provisional meanings, meanings that require interpretation and those that do not, these are the four modes of the Sutras. In the Mantras, in addition to that, adding sound as it is and not as it is, explaining after measuring well with six limits. Explaining in this way, whether it is the Greater or Lesser Vehicle, or holding onto the sides of the Sutras and Mantras respectively, and keeping one's own biased views and tenets in mind, becoming afraid of the great meaning of the Dharma, and thus speaking arbitrarily in refutation and establishment, is an unbearable fault of hating the Dharma. Parents, Arhats can be killed, the person who divides the Sangha is the worst. However, by definitely thinking about the nature of Dharma, one will be liberated. If someone hates the Dharma, how can there be liberation for them? One should think well about this, and also remember the faults of the sixth root downfall. Why? Because the wisdom of thoroughly distinguishing the Dharma has crossed beyond Samsara and Nirvana, it is the object of the ninth, excellent wisdom. The tolerance of logical analysis follows after the knowable and the knower. Therefore, the two minds of Bodhicitta are contradictory in terms of the age and substance of motivation, so the treatises of great beings who possess such qualities, propagated as the basis of written words, are not defiled by bias and possess the qualities of correction and protection, and are closely related to the path of obtaining liberation. Thus, one should respectfully accept it like a sage. Thus, one should hold it as the very lifeblood of the teachings. Those who explain small instructions should also, that the Dharma to be explained has been heard by oneself and is well-versed in the mind, and even with pure wisdom arising from thought, it is necessary to teach others without confusing the meaning of the words, this is definitely important.

Without the ability to measure, the conduct of drawing water into a pond from a place where there is no pond, and especially abandoning the intention to apply the Dharma to be taught to the continuum of others, but instead meticulously cleaning one's own residence and throne, being very attentive to ornate clothing, and merely reading the Dharma like reciting, or just transmitting it to others, so that students have no understanding whatsoever in terms of both words and meaning, is not the conduct of a holy person. As it says in the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra: 'To listen to the Dharma for the sake of a little gain, wanting to ask questions, wanting to read, wanting to impart, wanting to recite, wanting to meditate and listen, and not wanting to speak the Dharma in this way for the sake of a little gain, one should recognize this as the work of a demon.' Therefore, thinking only of obtaining gain is also not good. For those with the capacity of the first type of person, as well as sentient beings, those who are hidden, difficult to subdue, and difficult to train, do not be discouraged or disheartened. Explain repeatedly, ask questions repeatedly, and use analogies to connect to the meaning. Through the history of the Dharma's origin, biographies, and even stories and legends, strive to generate understanding. Like this, no matter with what kind of high or low wisdom one explains the Dharma, first recite seven times the wisdom mantra for subduing the armies of demons as spoken in the Sutra Requested by Ocean of Wisdom. No matter whether the Dharma being taught is a sutra or a tantra, visualize oneself as the teacher or compiler of that sutra or tantra, and explain it with bodhicitta. Especially when performing tantric empowerments, etc., if one does not diligently perform exorcism and the generation stage, just like before, when a teacher was giving an empowerment, Kyer Gangpa went there after having a dream, and as a result, a great demon struck the teacher from the throne. Seeing that he himself remained in that position, he passed away not long after. Just like this story, those who are now called those who think of the benefit of others, know that the reason they are not stable for long is that one must first mature oneself and then become skilled in the methods of liberating others. Eighth, recitation is the fruit of the non-forgetting dharani. Why? Because those who previously remembered but later forgot cannot be considered protectors. Therefore, remembering and not forgetting is extremely important. The immeasurable merit of recitation, as stated in the Samantabhadra's Prayer of Good Conduct.
