Like mercury, the method of destroying the harm of death is the empowerment of enjoying the glory of complete enlightenment. This shows that it is for extensively showing the training of higher morality. Likewise, the middle and final wheels should also be understood. As it says in the Treasury of Knowledge: One who has discipline, abides, and possesses hearing and thought, Should diligently engage in meditation. Just as all the Dharma that is heard, generating wisdom born of thought is a Dharma that must necessarily precede meditation. In particular, the nature of those who read, hear, and think, as it says in the "Dispelling Disputes": Without relying on terminology, one cannot realize the ultimate meaning. Because they want to experience peace by relying on terminology, they measure with names and symbols, as well as direct perception, inference, substance reversal, contradictory establishment, debate and investigation, and rely on the wisdom born of thought from studying categories and sutras, wanting to cling to the ultimate truth as the object of sound concepts,

And to keep in mind without confusing those places of what should be taken and what should be abandoned, and in connection with that, whether it is for the cause of higher rebirth, especially for the path to liberation, the two hundred and fifty precepts to be abandoned, and the seventeen precepts to be practiced, for the former, there are methods to recover from falling, and methods of renunciation, confession, etc., based on the training of higher morality, cultivating the path of the four noble truths, thereby leading to the path of the intermediate being who is led to the state of liberation; for the mind that has been cleansed of the defilements of sinking and excitement, there are three doors of liberation, arranging the base, path, and fruit in three, the training of higher mind, which is the Sutra Pitaka; for the manifestation of the three, the completely imputed, the other-powered, and the thoroughly established, with its vastness and depth, thereby turning back from the precipice of self-grasping and extreme views, and without concealing the nature of the Tathagatagarbha, revealing it, which is the excellent Dharma Pitaka, which is the Abhidharma Pitaka, relying on these two paths of great beings, thereby leading to the state of omniscience, this is the meaning of cultivation. Thus, after taming one's own mind-stream through the two, the small and the great vehicles, on the path of the result vehicle, the great vehicle, the Vajrayana, the vase empowerment that purifies the body and the channels; the secret empowerment that purifies speech and wind; the wisdom empowerment that purifies mind and bindu; the fourth empowerment that purifies the alaya consciousness and the cognitive obscurations, relying on these ripening empowerments and their respective vows, cultivating the stages of traversing the grounds and paths; similarly, the vase empowerment is the generation stage that purifies the clinging and conceptualization of the outer and inner environment and beings; similarly, relying on the three higher empowerments, the first two are the completion stage with signs, and the latter relies on the completion stage without signs, thereby purifying what each should purify, through cultivating these profound paths, one can instantly reach the state of Vajradhara. For those common meanings and hidden meanings, those whose minds are obscured, should remember the qualities of the Three Jewels, contemplate the field of accumulation, thereby taking refuge; the main of the Mahayana path, the four immeasurables, the two of aspiration and entering, giving and taking happiness and suffering, exchanging self and other, the six perfections, the two of shamatha and vipashyana, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, etc., in short, summarizing the essence of all hearing and thinking into cultivation.

The nature of wisdom is preceded by reflection and examination. In the main practice, it enters into non-discrimination. Therefore, the minds of the four dhyanas and the four formless absorptions are also present in the continuum of those who have not entered the path. Therefore, it is called the dhyana of childish near-practice. By making this the step of the path, on the paths of accumulation and junction, the liberation path of dhyana that discerns meaning is manifested, and from the first bhumi of the noble path, one enters the dhyana of the Tathagata's goodness. Therefore, traversing the ten bhumis on the path of meditation is the ultimate of the four paths of learning. Similarly, on the path of mantra, there are the three vajras, the five manifest enlightenments, the four mudras, the emission and absorption of rays, and the practice of the completion stage, etc. In short, whether it is with an object of focus or beyond an object of focus, all aspects that are established as the term "meditation." If all of these are summarized, they are included in the two truths. Among the two truths, it is said: All path truths are conditioned phenomena, all conditioned phenomena are conventional truths, and from the unborn, pacifying all elaborations, the name "ultimate" is established. It is like that. For the steadfast one known as the "Ten Practices of Dharma," I am not sure whether there were commentaries before. This is like a bubble rising from a slowly flowing river, emerging from the white light of altruistic mind. Because countless years have accumulated, the mind has become clear, and because of the dullness of the senses, the form of letters has been filled. Therefore, if there are errors in this sudden painting of wisdom, I confess to the all-knowing. Not seeking the praise of the wise or the famous, by this merit, may all beings attain the state of omniscient wisdom. Made by Mahāsandhipa Abhaya. The fifty-fifth chapter of the Collection of Discourses is complete. The fifty-fifth chapter of the Collection of Discourses, the discourse on the Ten Practices of Dharma, the virtuous tree.
