There are about eight different shapes, such as crows perched and windpipes with two corners connected. Even if the wind direction is reversed, the ship will not be carried away by the wind, and they are skilled in techniques that do not require docking. In addition, in the center, long wooden poles of about eight fathoms are erected, surrounded by three or four circles, and at the top, a navigator can sit, who can judge good and bad omens by the direction of the wind and clouds. Rope ladders are made for moving up and down. The huge flag is very powerful, and to prevent the ship from capsizing, salt and other items are placed in the hold of the ship. To moor the ship, iron anchors, i.e., two large sinkers, are made at the front and rear, and are operated by wheels like insertion and extraction screw piles. In addition, to guide large ships, a small boat called 'Naho,' which can accommodate seven or eight people, is guided by many people in front. If sailing into the depths of the sea where there is no escape, and sea monsters, harmful Kumira that look like sea monsters, large fish that cover a day's journey, water scorpions, etc., there are many dangers, so meteor iron is hung on the four sides of the ship, and one looks into the distance with glass eyes. Eastern boats that travel in streams are called 'Bosor,' and one or two large flags are sufficient. Thus, through the knowledge passed down through generations of wise men who study the ocean, and the stories of the navigators, this has become the final determination of visible phenomena. In general, Kalikatata is a place where the route from Jambudvipa to the ocean is close, and it takes three days to arrive. If one embarks on a ship and travels westward to the land of the Ferengi, there is a delay. Near Jambudvipa, between the islands of the ocean, there is a large island country known as Singala. Many kinds of precious stones and especially pearls are produced. When collecting pearls, they wear glass helmets on their heads, tie iron ropes around their waists, and pay thousands of rupees to divers who enter the ocean. It is said that there are also pearls made by chemical combination immediately after hail falls. It is true that 'Khra' means to follow meat. The people are also very wealthy and have wonderful appearances. It is uncertain whether Chandra Dipa, where the teacher Chandra Gomi resided, is the same place. It is also unknown whether there is a mountain where lithium stone melts naturally.

Homage. In that place, there is a kind of tree salt that bears fruit which tastes better than other tree salts, and is shaped like the shili tree, and is very precious. If people from Jambudvipa come there, they are very happy and give a lot of wealth. In particular, there are many women there. Those women say, "Please be the master of our wealth and stay." It is said that some people also stay. That's all. After staying in Calcutta for three years, my student, named Gungthangpa Jangchub Gyaltsen, who went all the way to the ocean, narrated this when he was seventy-three years old. He said this after verifying and discussing it with three examinations, and also conforming to other statements. Otherwise, the statement about the land of India being very vast, is not something that can be accomplished unless the Buddha and the noble ones see it with their eyes, or through the lineage of those who have attained miraculous powers and travel around. This is in accordance with all eight examinations, and by relying on metaphors, it is easy to understand the other person's situation. Please understand the necessary points through speech. The third chapter of the Collection of Stories ends. The fourth chapter of the Collection of Stories. The Story of Examining Jewels, the Treasury of Cintamani. The Story of Examining Jewels, called the Treasury of Cintamani. Homage to the Buddha! From the time the Victorious One appeared until the Lord of the Nagas, the wheel of reading and practice has not declined. The wheel of activity of temples and the supports of body, speech, and mind, is also like the waxing moon. In this land of snow mountains, who can bear the burden of closing the door to the biographies filled with the teachings and realizations of the Victorious Ones of the three generations of ancestors and descendants, the sacred places, the Dharma wheel, and the three jewels? Wherever this land is a source of jewels, and the wisdom and skillful means of the emanations of craftsmen, relying on the law of dependent origination, I will explain the treasury of the wish-fulfilling jewel. This has two parts: a general explanation of the nature of jewels, and a specific explanation. The first part is that the teachings of the sutras and tantras, such as jewels, and the treatises of the panditas and siddhas, divide jewels into five, seven, ten, fifteen, and nineteen types, and divide them into superior, middling, and inferior. These can all be categorized from the perspective of types into the three jewels of gods, humans, and bodhisattvas. The teacher Nagarjuna said:
