Furthermore, as stated in the Uttaratantra, "The Buddha-nature and the Buddha's enlightenment, the Buddha's qualities and the Buddha's activities, are not to be conceived even by pure sentient beings." Thus, the play of body, speech, and mind is immeasurable, and in accordance with the appearances to be tamed, it also demonstrates infinite activities in accordance with the inclinations of each individual. Therefore, although it is not appropriate to speak of it as constant and permanent, if we briefly discuss the activities that appear before those to be tamed, in the land of Oddiyana in western India, on the island of Dhanakosha, on the shore of Lake Kutra, at a place called Vajra Cave, the father was King Dahenatala, and the mother was Queen Trön Gyal. Their daughter, named Prarani, was endowed with virtue and particularly possessed the mind of enlightenment. After she became a nun, she kept the vows of a fully ordained nun purely, and lived with a retinue of five hundred nuns. In the Wood Ox year (unverified), on the eighth day of the first summer month, in a dream at dawn, she dreamed that light radiated from all the Tathagatas and transformed into the sun and moon. The sun entered from the crown of her head, and the moon entered from the soles of her feet. The next morning, she had a thought. After bathing on the shore of Lake Kutra, she sat facing east, and Vajrapani transformed into a golden goose, condensed into the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), a son of the gods with great aspiration. Together with four emanated geese, it descended from the sky and bathed in front of the princess. Then, the four emanations flew into the sky, and the main emanation, the golden goose, landed on the princess's heart, touched her lips three times, and infused a blazing light of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), before flying back to its original place. At that time, the princess was amazed and told her father and retinue about the dream and the geese. The father was also amazed and said that it must be an emanation of the Buddha, and he made many gifts and offerings. In due course, a golden nine-pronged vajra appeared from the princess's heart, and everyone was amazed. Then, the vajra itself dissolved, and a boy adorned with auspicious marks appeared, holding a vajra in his right hand and a jeweled staff in his left, reciting the Vajrasattva, Akashagarbha, and other sadhanas.

In the morning, as the sun's rays shone, all the Tathagatas came and went through the pores of his skin. They unanimously prophesied that you would work for the benefit of sentient beings, and all the eight classes of gods and demons also appeared to prostrate. After a while, Vajrasattva himself appeared and entrusted him with the twenty-one thousand folios of the "Vast Expanse" on his right, and a staff of Bodhicitta with eighteen Mind Section texts on his left, saying: "Enlightenment is primordially uncreated, primordially enlightened," and conferred the empowerment of no birth and no death. Having said this, he disappeared. There, everyone was delighted and showed this to the Brahmin astrologer. The Brahmin was very amazed and prophesied: "This is an emanation body who will become the master of the supreme vehicle's teachings." He was also named Garab Dorje. From then on, from his youth, he became unmatched in all kinds of play and took over the kingdom. The Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, himself appeared and fully conferred all the empowerments, including the complete empowerment of the general effusion of kingship. He summoned the three Putras from the southwestern continent of Odiyana and conferred empowerments and established vows. He completely entrusted all the tantras, empowerments, and instructions, such as the twenty thousand folios of the "Ninefold Expanse," in a single instant at the end of time, and empowered him as the great lamp of the teachings, entrusting them to the vow-holders for safekeeping. There, the emanation body Garab Dorje himself instantly awakened to the state of effortless Great Perfection. His mind became one with all the Buddhas of the three times. In general, there are limitless teachings of cause and effect, and in particular, the teachings of effortless Great Perfection are the sacred Dharma. The root tantra is the twenty thousand folios of the "Ninefold Expanse," the branch tantras are the Five Buddha Families, the explanatory tantras of the Lord of Secrets, the Hero, and all the countless specific tantras, as well as the instructions that directly reveal self-liberation. All the rivers of empowerment of the Four Kayas of the Victorious Ones, including the general effusion of kingship, were perfected in the expanse of his mind's clear light, the vast space. He proclaimed and abided in the teachings of effortless, self-arisen Great Perfection to the uncommon assembly. Such a master, Garab Dorje, had as his heart-son Jampal Shenyen.
