Who is the one who has attained liberation? From where is the ritual of exhaling breaths best known? From the All-Knowing One who guides the world, From the various forms of suffering, container and essence, Knowing their nature and liberating, May it be like the wisdom of the peaceful prince. 57. Even holding the pillar of wisdom, for the lower realms, One does not abandon the jewel crown of compassion. The dragon king's drum, the drumbeat agitates the heart, With the tongue as an arrow, suppressed by the power of loving-kindness. Those who excessively regard enemies and friends, Are like striving to grasp old branches. The cause of one's own downfall and the destruction of others, Knowing what to accept and reject is also wisdom. In this world, the wise live happily, But it is not without harmers, By the power of wisdom, for the causes and effects of harm, Because one knows their nature and is skilled at reversing them. May steadfast conduct be like a great drum. 58. Even finding fault with those who are similar in lineage and conduct, This is the nature of foolish, biased people. An old crocodile always accustomed to evil deceit, Destroys by pretending to be weakened by the pain of limbs. Even if evil deeds are hidden in the heart, But the consciousness that is controlled by others, Cannot endure the brilliance of great wisdom. Excessive strictness is like becoming a form, For the sharp sword of the wise person's words, Even if there is no material that causes stinging pain, But it especially pierces the hearts of the base, Appointed as the executioner who drives out sinners from their place. May the Bodhisattva be like a crocodile. 59. The mind that takes objects through the senses, Together with thought and analysis is worldly meditation, Even when the general appearance of objects disappears, there is no higher seeing, It is the meditation of the peak of existence that does not transcend sorrow. Where there is no supreme wisdom of the ascetic, The state between the two extremes, Is like the abandonment of the Middle Way, Utterly defeated on the battlefield of the view of the collection of fears. Here, the wisdom that realizes selflessness is: The object form is emptiness. And emptiness is form. There is no distinction of boundaries. In oneness, emptiness is not other than form. Shows the great perfect completion that does not abide. May the teacher be like various wisdoms. 60. Even five hundred merchants of consciousness, Are controlled by one compassionate leader, Filled with wealth and jewels.

The great ship of compassion, Is not swallowed by the belly of the sinful crocodile. Like the Asuras using bows and arrows, With the asceticism of a cat, stealing and plundering. At the sharp thorns in the heart of the deceitful, Even the sea god looks on with shameful laughter. His sins cannot be shaved off with a razor. The tree of the body, together with life, Is ended with a single stroke of the sword, Who has seen a more wonderful virtue than this? May he become like a captain with great compassion! 61 Even the world abandoned by the king, From the belly of the unrestrained crocodile, Is placed on the great precipice of evil destinies, Like a jackal escaping from a trap. The wheel-turning king with the beauty of the four continents, Accumulating virtue, together with a thousand princes, The kingdom abandoned by celibacy, Like holding the stem of a fresh lotus. The great robe of skillful means of enlightenment.

Desire is like poison mixed with honey, it deludes oneself, and the power of distraction diminishes meditation. The Khenpo and Acharya of today, abandon students as if discarding them, even arguing with wild animals, to demonstrate the excellence of contentment. The ascetic and the wild animal vow to have the same conduct. Skillful means are for taming students, not for other reasons. May the teacher become like a Brahmin. 65 The world not controlled by the passion of love is not a vessel for Dharma. These men attracted by the pistils of beautiful youth are not bees either. The tender branches of a young woman's fingertips, the dance intertwined with the embrace of jewels, and the charm of the song flowing from lips like Bandhujivaka flowers. In that voice, even the Kalavinka and the young celestial maiden cannot appear, saying that it is not frivolous words and flattery, like being busy scattering flowers of praise. May the dancer become like a walking goddess of fortune. 66 Who can create obstacles to merit more than I, the lord of the four continents, the father of thousands of brave and courageous sons, and the possessor of the seven precious treasures? Curses can weaken the power of sages, bravery can make Asuras rebel, arrogance can share a seat with Indra himself. See how one evil thought destroys power. The flames of desire, with the power of fierce tongue-snares, burn pure virtues in an instant, virtues that are as high and stable as the king of mountains. Direct perception prevents the evil path of the weak. May the Chakravartin pass away like being born from the crown of the head. 67 Wealth accumulated and then given away is like a tree trunk with depleted oil. When distressed by poverty, one enters the darkness of sin. The compassion of the great one, who always wishes to benefit beings, is like a seed even underground, so this land is filled with wealth. May all beings weakened by poverty be purified by enjoying the treasures of the earth and using everything for the Dharma of the Three Vehicles. May it be like the Naga King enjoying treasures. 68 The altruistic aspiration of the Bodhisattva, like a lion, is fully gathered, like a tree breaking out of the earth.
