It is not false, as it is said. The second part is divided into two: the actual confession and the explanation of the associated results. The first part is to confess through the means of possessing the four powers. The key point is to visualize one's parents on the right and left, the object of confession specifically designated in front, and all sentient beings around united in intention with oneself. All the Sugatas pervading the sky are visualized as the single manifestation of the peaceful and wrathful mandala of the Guru's Mind Assembly, and one relies on it with unwavering faith. Oneself, others, all sentient beings in general, and the specifically designated object, all sins and obscurations are poured into the object of confession, focusing on it with one-pointedness, which is the power of reliance. Oneself and others, all the sins committed in the past, and especially the subtle and difficult-to-guard violations of those who have entered the mantra path, are all remembered in the mind, thinking thus: "I or others have accumulated such great non-virtuous actions, striving to create the cause of falling into the lower realms. Now I deeply regret and repent, and I pray for forgiveness." This is the power of aversion. From now on, even if death comes, I will cut off the thought of doing such evil deeds and sins again, which is the power of restraint. The vajra verses of the scripture, the prayer for expiation of sins, are the same in meaning as the "Lament of Rudra" spoken in the Mother Tantra. Reciting and remembering the meaning of the words is the power of applying the antidote universally. With a mind that does not deviate from the four aspects, kneeling before the mandala, joining palms, and with a voice of extreme sincerity, one-pointedly: Ho! Please consider! Please listen! Please look! Primordial Buddha Samantabhadra, Father and Mother, Sons and Retinue! And so on, one should confess. The distinctions and numbers of each of the vows mentioned in this scripture, if not understood by the impartial-minded who have entered the mantra path, are as good as non-existent even if they are present. Here, I have not elaborated much because I am afraid of too many words. The detailed explanations of the places of vows, the determined boundaries of protection, and the methods of confession in the Great Perfection tantras are no more than the seventh story of the Treasury of the Supreme Vehicle. The concise explanations are in the Treasure Text, the Root Vows, the Explanation of Knots, and the Ten General Meanings.

Firstly, it should be understood at the end of the previously mentioned chapter on the emptying of hells. Secondly, the benefit of having is: Continuing from the previous, then the teacher Samantabhadra spoke: Those with the heads of wise people, it is good to confess their regretful deeds, the obscurations of afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge will be removed, the accumulation of wisdom will be perfected, rising from ground to ground, the fruit of Buddhahood will be completely perfected. As it is said, it is obtained. Moreover, mainly, if one does not single-mindedly focus on the meaning of the four powers as explained in great detail before, but merely recites the words of confession from the mouth, as most ritual performers do nowadays, hoping that obscurations will be removed and that the qualities mentioned will be obtained as they are, it will be like a lotus in the sky. The Vajra speech says: Otherwise, it is just apparent joy, and one does not want the name of other causes of decline. If there is a desire for fame, arrogance, and pride, even if one spends a thousand gold coins and arranges a feast gathering, it will not be fulfilled, but one will fall downwards. Therefore, it is very appropriate to understand that the confession of downfalls, which is well-known in the Sutra of the Three Heaps, should be recited at this very moment. Fourth, there are two aspects to making aspirations: the actual teaching and the detailed explanation. Firstly, if we summarize the meaning, there are two: aspirations related to confession of faults, and aspirations for the benefit of oneself and all others. The first is: The assembled gathering holds flowers in their hands, makes mudras and gestures, and circumambulates the mandala while reciting from "Emaho! The deities of the pure mandala of self-appearance" to "May all impairments, breakages, confusions, and obscurations be purified." Secondly, there are nine: aspiration to enter the supreme gate, aspiration for those who abide in the bodhisattva's training, aspiration for the solitary realizers, aspiration for the hearers, aspiration for all sentient beings of the three realms, aspiration that the noble upholders of the teachings will not pass into nirvana, aspiration for temporary and ultimate commonality, aspiration for the flourishing of the Vajrayana, and aspiration for all sentient beings to be happy and joyful. The first is: Thus, prostrating, offering, and presenting, these two shlokas of

Through this door, those who enter the profound secret mantra generation and completion stage path, all the conceptual obscurations of the three doors are purified. The view of the nature of the cause is realized, and the samadhi of the nature of the condition is meditated upon. When the view and meditation are combined, the two accumulations are simultaneously perfected. Those who have not obtained the supreme siddhi of freedom over birth and death are called "the lineage of ripening," which has the same intention as the path of seeing of the causal vehicle. Those who have the same intention as the bodhisattvas who reside on the eighth ground of the causal vehicle, and who have freedom over birth, are called "the lineage of life empowerment." Those who have the same intention as the path of liberation of the causal vehicle are called "the lineage of Mahamudra." Those who have the same intention as the ultimate Samantabhadra of the causal vehicle are called "the holder of spontaneous awareness." These names are, in order: Yoga, Mahayoga, Differentiating Yoga, and Realization Yoga. They are also known as the ground of the four lineages, such as the lineage of accomplishment. May it be so. The third verse says: May all those who are connected to me and those who are to be tamed surpass the special ground of the mantra path, attain the ground of the wisdom guru, and never regress. Second, the bodhisattvas who reside on the ground of truth, with the three kinds of discipline as the basis of qualities, practice the five paths and ten grounds of the union of the two truths. The defilements to be abandoned are the ego clinging that resides in the womb of an evil woman below the seventh ground. Purity is residing on the three grounds, like gold residing in the center of a lotus, as explained in the Uttaratantra. The result of abandonment is the Buddha who is perfect in two purities. May they: Although those bodhisattvas do not have manifest afflictive obscurations, they have subtle cognitive obscurations. With the antidote of vajra-like samadhi, like a fully drawn bow, may they destroy them, and gradually perfect the ten grounds in a state of non-proliferation, and may they reach the ultimate ground of Samantabhadra of the causal vehicle. Thus, those who reside on the great ground of truth, this verse says. Third, the Pratyekabuddhas, on top of realizing the selflessness of the individual of the Hearers, realize that even the part of the object of my grasping, the subtle dust, has no self-nature. The twelve links of dependent origination are like a rhinoceros horn, and the three great and small accumulations
