After decorating the temple beautifully, focusing on listening to the Śrāvakayāna while the path of empowerment, transmission, and guidance of the Vajrayāna is endless, is like what is said in the Jātaka: 'Even crossing a fire and the edge of a sharp sword, one seeks the sacred Dharma until death.' This is its meaning. So, what is the ultimate fruit of listening? Just as it says, 'With the basis of discipline, possessing listening and thinking, one should diligently practice meditation.' Therefore, on the basis of pure discipline, placing the outer edges of the three wisdoms inward, thereby perfecting the accumulation of abandonment and realization, and seizing a firm place in the realm of the enlightened mind of the complete Buddha, one accomplishes the benefit of oneself and others. It is not said 'Sa-ga-nying-sum' (ས་དཀའ་སྙིང་གསུམ།), but it is said 'Kagyu and Chagyu, the two rivers merge,' which is widely known in the Gampopa lineage. The reason for saying so is that Lharje was initially a Kadampa Geshe, and later received the Mahāmudrā teachings from Milarepa. The teachings combined the two, and gave it a name, which I think is its sect. In general, abandoning the epistemology of other sects that possess four valid proofs, one negates the black realization of others with the white realization of one's own sect. Claiming that the scriptures have appeared as key instructions, and asserting that secret instructions are false. Although Achang's teachings proclaim greatness in their own field, I greatly admire and rejoice in the omniscient White Lotus and the wise Buddha Vajra. Therefore, even if one does not seek such (fame), if I still have the opportunity, if 'Kagyu lineage' is written below Gyalwang Chöje, then it is appropriate in reason and established in scripture. Why did one not want others to proclaim that the Kadampa sect was white in the beginning? Because later, the teachings of Gyalwang Chöje were used as the basis. For the sovereign of nourishing mindfulness, I like such playful words. Because the Dharma does not rely on words, but relies on meaning, this is correct. If someone sees faults in this, such as frivolous speech or crude wording, I will not hide it. I prostrate at the feet of the Guru. Listen, whoever has attained victory does not cling to worldly affairs, (and) this is all because of not remembering death. Therefore, in the exhortation of the Dharma, please practice impermanence and death! All the happiness and suffering of oneself and others are the result of karma and karmic fruits.

So be it! Do not engage in business that deceives others, let karmic consequences be the witness! Even if you understand the Dharma with great wisdom, if wisdom is perverse, you will fall into evil realms. Do not abandon renunciation in your mind, always stay in solitude! The root of the Mahayana is the supreme Bodhicitta. Subdue sentient beings with compassion, instill the thought of benefiting others in your mind! Even if you expend hundreds of hardships and efforts, if you do not grasp the Guru's mind with great devotion, realization will not arise in your mind, so, invite faith and devotion as guests! Living in a secluded mountain, perhaps your mind can attain peace. If you die now, what assurance do you have? Look and urge yourself to be diligent! Before the path of seeing arises in your mind, offering faith-based wealth, deceased's wealth, visible objects, etc., as offerings for practice is worldly conformity, let it go! Once you are able to practice alone, obstacles and demons will disguise themselves in various ways. Do not praise yourself, nor be greedy for tormas, think of the Guru's qualities! The conditions of a place are powerful, fame, possessions, merit, as well as food, drink, and agreeable friends will disguise themselves, say no to everything! Impartial people, Dharma-compatible friends, and people without jealousy are rare, so, live alone!

Now it is clear and bright, it is good to know what to learn and what can be learned, may you practice the union of generation and completion stages! It is good to meditate on the nature of reality, but it is better to leave the uncorrected, natural state, in which there is no permanence or annihilation, and rest in its own uncontrived place! It is good to have the view of Tögal (ཐོད་རྒལ།), but it is better to have self-arisen spontaneous accomplishment, without being too attached to the flock, and directly point to awareness! It is good to manifest benefiting others, but it is better to hold the mind of enlightenment. May all the virtues you have done be transformed into benefiting others, and may you receive the aspiration! In short, without selfishness, knowing your own faults and without arrogance, having pure perception towards everyone, holding a low position and having great compassion. Abandoning the eight worldly concerns and freeing the mind, being happy when sick, happy when dying, and going to remote places. Obeying whatever the Lama says, and not letting others and bad friends control you. If you do so, even if someone says that there is no realization and merit, you will not be deceived when you go to the pure land in the bardo. This is the teaching of the Victorious Ones. May I and the three times meet again and again without separation. Keep these words in your heart! Written by Rangjung Dorje (རང་བྱུང་རྡོ་རྗེ།), the Great Perfection practitioner, while Jigme Namgyal (འཇིགས་མེད་རྣམ་རྒྱལ།) was in a three-year retreat. From the various questions of Gon Tsetrulku Rinpoche (དགོན་རྩེ་སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ།) on how to cultivate mindfulness. In general, the so-called mindfulness has different substances, so in the great treatises, in the meaning of the five paths and ten bhumis, the term mindfulness is commonly used to symbolize the mindfulness of the accumulation path, such as mindfulness of the near-abiding. Among them, the meaning of the first question is that the mindfulness of the generation stage of the deity, the devotion to the Lama, the renunciation and the arising of renunciation are: called the mindfulness of intention, if it is the generation stage, then it is the mindfulness of perceiving the appearance as form. Similarly, for devotion there is recognition and intention, for renunciation and renunciation, there are various feelings of mindfulness generated by consciousness, etc., although they are different, in fact, there is no place to go beyond the grasping and mindfulness of the nature of the five aggregates, and for beginners, grasping and mindfulness are indispensable, just as one cannot abandon the path before reaching the destination. The meaning of the second question is that sometimes when the mind is distracted by external objects, the mind thinks "I am distracted", and then gathers it back, like this, resting without correction, this is the mindfulness of the perception of grasping emptiness. Also, just being aware of distraction
