Instructions at Orgyen Dorje Drak. Emaho! The kindness of the unparalleled prince Padmasambhava, the chief of the wisdom dakinis, Kharchenza, Vimalamitra, and the master Gyalrong Lopön, their kindness is immeasurable. Your fame, in the center of the lotus, the thousand petals of the red citta blossom, dispensing the nectar drops of the three stories. Keep your awareness clear and listen carefully. This precious opportunity of leisure and endowment is only this once, like a star in the day, the sun in the night. Even if you find this rare opportunity, it is as fragile as a bubble and lightning. If you do not remember that death is certain and impermanent, there will be no Dharma reminders or iron hooks. Observe the corpses of the dead, morning and evening, and cherish remembering death in the four times. Even if you have abundant material possessions, you cannot take them with you at the time of death. Have you not seen that the things you cherish like your heart are ultimately enjoyed by your enemies? Between this life and the next, there is only the in and out of breath. Do not cling to the illusory samsara, arouse renunciation in your mind, and go to the solitary mountains. Observe the changes of the four seasons of the outer climate, the changes of inner enemies, friends, and neutrals, and the changes of the secret thoughts arising and ceasing. This is a great spectacle to behold. Samsara and nirvana, good and bad, all are made by the mind. Happiness and suffering depend on karma. If you cling to external things, you will waste your life. There are many who waste the precious opportunity of leisure and endowment. The thoughts of enemies, friends, and neutrals cause strong love and hate in the minds of ordinary people. If practitioners can observe the origin of the three realms, they will find that there is not a single atom of true existence. Since you do not know when you will die, it is a complete mistake to cling to things as permanent. If you let go of thoughts of happiness, suffering, enemies, and friends, the root of effortless happiness will naturally arise. In caves, self-contained holes, small huts, and other places away from the noise of monasteries and temples, weariness and renunciation will naturally arise. Therefore, the benefits of the edge are inconceivable. The hypocrisy and arrogance inflated by the eight worldly concerns and noise, and the attachment to the pleasures of samsara, lead the path to liberation to hell.

Oṃ, the one who makes fish (referring to the author's self-deprecation). Contemplate the virtues of the cool waters of the secluded rocky place. Alas, today, the little wise child, With the sorrowful renunciation intensely urging, Remembers the liberation stories of the accomplished predecessors. Regrets wasting the life of youthful vigor. Now, the degenerate actions of the degenerate age, Have entered the minds of all beings, leaving no time for Dharma practice, Mostly cultivating the farming of creating lower realms. Hearing this and thinking about it, the heart and lungs are seized by sorrow. Alas, the white-toothed life is fleeting, Having passed, now death is drawing near. When dying, only the sacred Dharma of the gods, Can benefit, so the mind becomes disillusioned. Ah, all my faithful Dharma friends, All the good and bad of this life are transformed like a cold, Happy when sick, happy when dying, content with whatever happens, Now weary of wandering in the remote forests. The world's phenomena are like a city of gandharvas, Attachment to it makes the bonds ever tighter. In the nature of non-conceptual, free from elaboration, primordially liberated, Letting go and fulfilling the ultimate aspiration, I know myself. The master of the teachings, Shakya Singha, and, The patron deity of Tibet, noble Avalokiteshvara. To the great teacher with incomparable kindness, Devote body, speech, and mind, and may aspirations be fulfilled. That lama, the source of qualities, possessing the three, The Buddha praised eight times as the embodiment of all Buddhas. If one can clearly recognize with devotion, blessings will enter, When the realization of the mind-stream is transferred, it is a transaction. The beauty of various rocky mountains is like a bride, The slender branches are all connected like a string of beads, A place where birds and wild animals play and frolic. Go there and meditate on profound samadhi. The essence of the Sugata pervades all, All sentient beings possess the seed of omniscience. From the front and back of ignorance and knowledge, There is nothing, now meditate on stainless, clear light. Thus, in the clear radiance of clear awareness, As it appears, it is necessary to write it down, As urged by the one named Chandra (referring to the author), Written relying on the cool shade of the Ogmin tree. May this virtue transform the minds of all beings towards the sacred Dharma, May the Buddhas of the three times bless it. Emaho! Uncontrived, naturally flowing, the nature of one's own state, Beyond acceptance and rejection, indescribable, the deep, clear vase-like body. In the vast, naturally liberated, stainless light, With the continuous stream of recollection beyond mind, I prostrate. Sarva Mangalam!
