are the false fabrications of conceptual thought. Saying that, (it means) that after that (conceptual thought) ceases, the inner clarity of each self-aware wisdom merges, but it is not that the part that is not obscured is completely ceased. If it ceases like that, then the qualities of nirvana, such as power and fearlessness, which are extremely vast, and the manifestation of the Dharma nature of wisdom, which exists like the sun and rays, will also be interrupted without ceasing. Therefore, although the Dharma of wisdom, which relies on the basis of space, is inherently and spontaneously perfect and inseparable from awareness, on the path of learning, it is obscured by the obscurations of the eight aggregates of consciousness and the five aggregates of appropriation, and becomes hidden. As it says in the 'All-Illuminating' (Kun gsal): 'Even though the moon is full on a clear night, it is not visible due to the power of the sun. From the first to the fifteenth, it is complete and accomplished, but after that, the moon cannot be generated. Even though there is no gathering or dispersal in a precious vase, it cannot be revealed due to the power of delusion. From the first ground to the fifteenth, it is completely accomplished, but when it rises above that, there are no traces in the sky.'

Remaining in that state, one possesses uninterrupted compassion without an object of focus towards the realm of sentient beings. Regarding this principle, it is stated in the Sutra of Gatherings: "Lord of Secrets, if the Buddha and all sentient beings are empty, then with whose great compassion does one act upon whom, and how? Whose supreme language is this great compassion?" The reply: "Lord of Lanka, when all phenomena abide by nature in emptiness, since duality is not seen, there is no object of compassion. This is the great compassion that liberates all beings into enlightenment. The compassion of children, who sever the lives of beings in the three-thousandfold great thousand world, and those who liberate them, should be regarded as small compassion." Such Buddha-nature, also due to sudden adventitious stains, manifests the qualities that are inherently present through power, just as when the sun rises, rays of light appear simultaneously. Obtaining realization of the grounds and paths, and the qualities of abandonment and realization becoming visible, one should not think of it as a result arising from other causes. This principle is explained in the commentary on the Uttaratantra, before explaining the meaning of the definitive sutra, the Avatamsaka Sutra, with the analogy of the vast silk cloth of the three-thousandfold great thousand world: "Moreover, the stainless qualities of the Buddha, one, even on the ground of ordinary beings, the nature of phenomena without distinction from all afflictions, exists without difference between before and after. This abiding is inconceivable. Why? Because there is not a single being among the types of beings in whom all the wisdom of the Tathagata has not followed. However, due to the grasping of fabrication, the wisdom of the Tathagata does not appear. From being free from the grasping of consciousness, the wisdom of omniscience, the self-arisen wisdom, arises without obstruction. O son of the Victorious One, for example, suppose there is a vast silk cloth equal in size to the realm of the three-thousandfold great thousand world, and on that vast silk cloth, all the realms of the three-thousandfold great thousand world are completely depicted. Thus, the measure of the great circumference is depicted as the great circumference, the measure of the great earth is depicted as the great earth, and the measure of the two-thousandfold intermediate world is depicted as the two-thousandfold world."

Realm. The measure of a thousand worlds is the realm of a thousand worlds. The measure of the four continents is the realm of the four continents. The measure of the great ocean is the great ocean. The measure of Jambudvipa is Jambudvipa. The measure of the eastern Videha is the eastern Videha continent. The measure of the western Godaniya is the western Godaniya. The measure of the northern Kuru is the northern Kuru. The measure of Mount Meru is Mount Meru. The measure of the heavenly palace of the earth-goers is the heavenly palace of the earth-goers. The measure of the heavenly palace of the desire realm is the heavenly palace of the desire realm. The measure of the heavenly palace of the form realm is written as the heavenly palace of the form realm. That great banner also became the measure of the great thousand world realm of three thousand. That great banner was also placed in one atom of the subtle particles. Thus, just as the great banner is placed in one atom of the subtle particles. In all the remaining atoms of the subtle particles, the great banner of that measure is also placed inside. Then, wise, intelligent, clear-minded, and disciplined scholars are born. Some individuals with conduct who approach it are born. Their eyes become divine eyes, and they are completely pure and radiant. They look with divine eyes, and this great banner, which has become like this, dwells in this tiny particle of subtle particles. It has not even approached some sentient beings. They think like this: Alas! Who, with the power and strength of great diligence, will split that particle of subtle particles, so that this great banner will become a close source of sustenance for all beings? They generate the power of great diligence and split that particle of subtle particles with a vajra dust, and as they think. That great banner closely nourishes all beings, and just as it is with one, it does the same with all the remaining subtle particles without exception. Oh, sons of the Victorious Ones, likewise, the immeasurable wisdom of the Tathagata, all sentient beings
