I am self-appearing. Kuntuzangpo is self-awareness. Thus it is said. Such awareness, also, from the perspective of opening the gate of wisdom through the sound of emptiness, is called individually self-aware, but because it does not abide in the self-continuum of memory and thought, it is in a state of contradiction with conceptualization. Awareness also does not abide in the realm of knowable objects. It is free from the dharma of grasping at "I" and "mine." In that, there is no meditation and nothing to be meditated upon. If left uncorrected and natural, it is seen nakedly. If one's own essence does not change into something else, then ignorance and grasping cannot lead one into existence. Thus, if view, meditation, conduct, and result are the collected dharmas of the knowable and the knowing, then they cannot be included on top of awareness. Why? Because awareness itself has no essence, therefore they are mutually contradictory. Because there is no "I" and "mine," it is precisely that action and agent are not established in an instant. With the three great reasons that view, meditation, conduct, and result are meaningless to individual self-awareness, the life force of view is gone, the object of meditation is separated, and conduct does not benefit. If one looks, one does not see; if one meditates, one does not find. One cannot examine in the field of conduct, and one cannot accomplish the result. From Rangshar: In the Great Perfection Ati Yoga, there is no view, meditation, or conduct. Well taught, hold it in your mind. Without effort, spontaneously accomplish the aspiration. The meaning is the original, primordial, naturally perfect, without action. Where are action and agent? This self-arisen nature of dharma without conduct, not falling to any side, like the sky. It is not existence, it is the only emptiness. It is not non-existence, it is the body of true bliss. It is not made, it is self-arisen, without thought. In the Great Perfection Ati Yoga, where is the nature of meditation? A dharma without abandonment or abiding. Freed from the extremes of meditating and not meditating. What is the stain on the mind without grasping? True awareness is without stain. On the stainless, pure Dharmakaya, there is no meditation and nothing to be meditated upon. Meditation does not find the true nature. If found, self-awareness would be lost. Why? Because in self-awareness wisdom, there is no distraction and no non-distraction. Wherever there is grasping, there is no self-arisen wisdom. If self-arisen wisdom itself becomes under the control of meditation, the vow of wisdom will be contradicted. Therefore, in the Great Perfection Ati, it is said that meditation does not see the meaning.

In the Great Perfection Ati Yoga, there is no need to look at the view itself; viewing is a stain on the mind. In the stainless, pure Dharma-nature, there is no separation between the object of viewing and the viewer. There is no need to look at the view itself. Why, if there is viewing, does the lamp of awareness disappear? Therefore, in the Great Perfection Ati, there is no Dharma-nature of holding a view. In the Great Perfection Ati Yoga, it is said that the fruit is not to be achieved. The fruit is unmade, self-arisen. In the ground of non-thought, the Thus-Gone One abides. In the great pure appearance of wisdom, because of non-grasping, the self-radiance is clearly manifest. If there truly is a fruit, then there would be no Buddha. Because it is self-arisen, the fruit is the Dharma-nature of being made. Whatever is made is the Dharma-nature of disintegration. Therefore, the fruit is not to be achieved. Thus it is. Therefore, since there are no four: view, meditation, conduct, and fruit, practicing on the ground, progressing on the path, focusing on the fruit, empowerment and vows, the two stages, and accomplishing activities, etc., are also not to be done. Because these are conditioned phenomena. And the Dharma-nature is unconditioned, transcending the three times of cause and effect, not relying on favorable conditions and circumstances. As it says in the All-Creating King: From before countless eons, the yogi with karma and fortune, with faith in me, the All-Creating King of Enlightenment, needs no view, no meditation, no vows to keep, no activities to seek, no path to progress on, no ground to practice on, no cause and no fruit, no ultimate and no relative two, seeing that there is no meditation and no accomplishment, no generation of mind and no seeing of antidotes, seeing the self-nature of the mind of the All-Creating King, in this way the necessity has been explained. Thus it is. So, for what purpose are the teachings of the eight stages taught? They are taught as a way to enter the vehicle in stages, for the purpose of realizing this unborn state. If a person who has directly recognized the nature of the Dharmakaya, which is to be realized, then practices again from the beginning, it is called contaminating the primordial liberation with a new liberation. As it says in the Lion's Roar Perfection: Without departing from the meaning of the unborn, keeping vows does not lead to Buddhahood. The mandala is naturally abiding from the beginning; drawing a mandala does not see the deity. Homage
