Showing the characteristics of "Na" as flawed, and establishing the basis of primordial purity and spontaneous presence as the flawless own system. Firstly: Briefly, the tenets of the way the basis abides, the primordial purity, spontaneous presence, undetermined, determined meaning, anything is possible and anything can be accepted, all seven bases of various desires, the essence is only primordial purity, only in one aspect of it, others holding their own systems separately established, like seven blind men touching the elephant's genitals, and describing the color of the swan. Therein, the seven views of the basis in the Great Perfection tradition are shown as: Holding the basis as primordial purity, holding the basis as spontaneously present, holding the basis as undetermined, holding the basis as the actual basis of the determined meaning, holding the basis as able to be transformed into anything, holding the basis as able to accept anything, and holding the basis as various, these seven. Thus, these seven are also established on the single essence of primordial purity awareness, each with its own reasonable basis on one aspect, as it says in the Sixth Space: The basis of accomplishment that first descends, what exists is not from one, in the aspects that appear as delusion, when determined by those who realize, it appears as a sequence of seven, the appearance of the sequence of seven is also, from the way one essence appears, it appears that way because one is not understood. However, the meaning of that is like this: Abiding in spontaneous presence, it appears as essence by the gathering of various things; abiding in undetermined, it appears as the form of moving consciousness; abiding in determined self-nature, it appears as having memory and without change; abiding in what can be transformed, it appears as the form of diligent intelligence; abiding in any essence, whatever appears appears as its own essence; abiding in variegated, it appears as various separate ways; abiding in purity from the beginning, it appears as without any stain from the beginning. All these are the sequence of mind, self-nature is pure from the beginning. So it says. Therein, firstly, holding the basis as primordial purity is not reasonable, because the nature of primordial purity is great freedom from elaboration, without ignorance, therefore it is impossible for the delusion of samsara to arise from it, because that basis itself cannot be the transmitting medium of ignorance. If you say that ignorance is a sudden stain, so it can arise, then, because there is the pervasion that when the cause is blocked, the result is blocked, so the sudden

It is not reasonable, because the essence of the Tathagatagarbha is without defilement. As it says in the Klong Drug Pa: "Since the essence is primordially pure, it is not reasonable for sentient beings to be in samsara, because the defilement of ignorance is primordially exhausted." This has been shown. The previous lamas held the view of primordial purity (ka dag), and Lhaje Zur Chungpa held the view of spontaneous accomplishment (lhun grub), so there are various explanations in the old texts, but the oral instructions of complete examination are the Great Vehicle Jewel, which is reliable. Secondly, it is also unreasonable to consider the ground as spontaneously accomplished (lhun grub). If it were spontaneously accomplished, it would not change like the color of coal, so there would be no cause for the arising of samsara and nirvana. Even if it were samsara, since ignorance is established on the ground, it would always be in samsara and could not be liberated. Even if it were nirvana, since it is spontaneously accomplished as nirvana from the beginning, it would not depend on the conditions of the two accumulations, such as knowing one's own nature. As it says in the Klong Drug Pa: "The various grounds of spontaneous accomplishment are not the true ground. If they were, then it would change in this way. These sentient beings would not be liberated by their efforts, because they are defiled by ignorance. If you say that they are liberated by knowledge, then will the result also not be liberation? For example, black coal cannot be turned into white color by cleaning. Because the cause and the result are different, therefore it is not spontaneously accomplished. Likewise, if the cause and the result are one, then all efforts would be unnecessary. Therefore, is the ground called spontaneous accomplishment meaningful or not? Kuntuzangpo told me, the teacher said, great-hearted one, as you understand it, this is only a knowable dharma, but not the true essence." Thirdly, it is also unreasonable to consider the ground as indeterminate. If the indeterminate ground is the basis for the arising of samsara and nirvana, then it would either revert from a state of purity to impurity, or it would change from a state of impurity to a pure nature, because it has no fixed position, so it would change into any state. If this is the case, then some sentient beings would also be liberated effortlessly, and Buddhas would also fall into samsara and experience suffering, so the forms of samsara and nirvana would also become confused. As it says in the Klong Drug Pa: "The ground that is said to be indeterminate is also the ground
