Therefore, it is also designated as the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, because the nature of reality is extremely peaceful. As it is said, in the Middle Mother Sutra: Knowing one dharma is called knowing all dharmas, which is the aspect of the peaceful nature of reality. Second (Dharmadhatu wisdom) has three aspects: First, from the aspect of its own nature, it directly knows all knowable things such as its own essence and cause and effect, like illusions, without mixing or confusing them. That is, from what was said earlier, the Tathagata has realized those aspects, those signs, and those characteristics by which the dharmas are expressed. Thus it is said. Second, from the perspective of classification, there are mirror-like wisdom, equality wisdom, discriminating wisdom, and accomplishing activity wisdom. Third, from the perspective of their causes, there are two: The antidote cause that eliminates obstacles is, on the path of learning, hearing and retaining many aspects of the Dharma, cultivating equality between oneself and others, teaching beings to be tamed the Dharma that is appropriate to their capacity, and being a companion in accomplishing the benefit of others, thereby purifying the stains of the four wisdom grounds of one's own nature and becoming the cause of accomplishment. The Ornament of the Sutras says: Because of upholding, and because of equality of mind, and because of truly teaching the excellent Dharma, and because of accomplishing activity, the four wisdoms truly arise. Thus it is said. The cause of the intention of self-nature is: only from the obscurations of the self-nature wisdom, the part that manifests by the power of being separated from those afflictions, is designated as transformation. Thus, the eight consciousnesses in the impure state, including the alaya consciousness, are transformed and manifested as wisdom. The Sutra Entering the Three Bodies says: The alaya consciousness dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. The manifestation of the alaya consciousness dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is mirror-like wisdom. The manifestation of mind dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is equality wisdom. The afflicted mind dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is discriminating wisdom. The five sense consciousnesses dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is accomplishing activity wisdom. Thus it is said, it is very clear. In reality, from the perspective of their own characteristics, afflictions and wisdom are extremely contradictory, so transformation is impossible, but what is to be purified

It is called "Gadra" because if they are not pure, the qualities they possess will not manifest. The individual natures are: Like a mirror, the nature of mirror-like wisdom possesses five qualities. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Mirror-like wisdom has no 'I', it is perpetually continuous, never confused about all that is knowable, and always faces towards it." Because there is no limitation of grasping at 'I', it is continuous; it is not that it knows what exists in that place but does not know what exists elsewhere, therefore it is completely uninterrupted with respect to objects; it transcends change and impermanence, because there is no falsehood in the three times, therefore the inconceivable wisdom is perpetually present, thus it is uninterrupted in time; because it knows all knowable things without exception, it is uninterrupted in its focus; it does not show inclination towards the appearance of objects, it merely knows, therefore it is uninterrupted in its aspects. The other three wisdoms are present as its companions, as it is said: "Mirror-like wisdom is unwavering, the three wisdoms rely on it, equality and individual discernment, only accomplish the task." Its function is that, just as when a mirror meets a face, an image appears, so when this wisdom meets the mirror of those to be tamed, the enjoyment body and the other three wisdoms appear like images, therefore it is the basis for the emanation body. As it is said: "For the sake of the cause of all wisdoms, like a great source of wisdom, the perfect enjoyment Buddha, for the sake of the appearance of the image of wisdom." The nature of equality wisdom is that, having understood that all phenomena are of equal nature, it is the supreme peace that does not abide in the two extremes of samsara and nirvana. As it is said: "Abiding in non-abiding peace, is said to be equality wisdom." Its companions are possessing great love and great compassion, and its function is to manifest the visible form body in accordance with the inclinations of those to be tamed. Although the basis of the form body is like the function of a mirror, the agent of appearance for those to be tamed is equality wisdom. As it is said: "At all times possessing love, and great compassion, according to the inclinations of sentient beings, it definitely shows the Buddha's body." The nature of individual discriminating wisdom is, with respect to all phenomena
