Pages 601 to 683. Pages 601 to 683. Both faults of partiality are eliminated, and because the two truths are inseparable, even the conventional becomes ultimate. When it is possible, having understood that the two truths are beyond the object and subject of realization, and having generated a mind that accords with the ultimate, Chandrakirti considers this as the pinnacle of realization. He says, "Generating a mind that is in accordance with emptiness is said to be realizing emptiness, but it is not the realization of emptiness." Therefore, even with the mind that realizes that all phenomena do not exist ultimately, it is not understood that all phenomena are not merely nominal designations. Why? Because considering emptiness as a non-affirming negation contradicts the affirming negation that speaks of the non-existence of things. As it is said in the "Conduct of Avalokiteśvara": "I have merely negated the existence of the aggregates in the ultimate sense by way of a non-affirming negation, but I have not spoken of the non-existence of things by way of an affirming negation." Like that. Even so, Acharya Dharmakirti says, "Non-affirming negation is because it is nothing at all." Following his view, there are also those who consider the Madhyamaka view to be nothing at all. If one thinks it is nothing at all, and focuses on it with discriminating wisdom, then the coarse view of space pervading everywhere and the ālaya pervading everywhere is likely to arise. The Bengali Pandit said, "Even such a coarse tenet of asserting the ālaya-vijñāna as all-knowing is not found even among the non-Buddhist." Therefore, if one knows that all phenomena are of the nature of dependent arising, that is the way to realize reality without error. Whatever is dependent arising is the treasury of all phenomena without exception. By the wisdom of thought, it is the key to enter correctly. Thus, obtaining instruction is the quality of the wisdom of hearing, and after that, by the wisdom of thought, understanding that dependent arising is unborn, and thus approaching the path of great nirvana. In the "Noble Great Nirvana Sutra" it says: "Son of good family, all sentient beings are deluded by the four perversions of permanence, happiness, self, and purity, etc., because of thinking.
