Since the scope of wisdom of individual ordinary people cannot reach it, therefore, realizing it is established as the view of Madhyamaka. As it is also said in the Ratnakuta Sutra: "O Light Increaser, the mind cannot be found if it is completely sought. Whatever is not found is invisible." Therefore, on the truly pure nature itself, one should truly contemplate. Contemplation is also just conventional truth, and not moving from its own state is the best of meditation. In its presence, neither mind nor all mental activities abide. Among them, naturally pure is not defiled by artificial rituals. Reality itself does not cognize other objects, but it is not like a blind person who lacks conditions, or like being obscured by sleep, nor is it superior to the absorption of non-perception, but abides in all behaviors with the yoga of suchness, and desires to be associated with the meaning of selflessness. In this way, if one observes with wisdom, then by seeing true wisdom, one becomes not seeing all dharmas, as it is said in the middle of the Mother Sutra: "Seeing the meaning of not seeing anything." It also says: "What is the seeing of ultimate truth? It is not seeing all dharmas." Like this, establishing the name of contemplation, in the Bodhisattvacharyavatara it says: "Therefore, by contemplating the emptiness of self and self's, that yogi will be liberated." That is, with true wisdom, one realizes that all dharmas are without inherent existence, and follows the principle of liberation. One also contemplates that the five aggregates are naturally empty and pure. This is combined with the essence of the Heart Sutra. However, if one scrutinizes the word "contemplation", then at that time it becomes empty of mental activity, thereby making the state of mind very bad, thereby becoming not inherent existence, but the emptiness of the imputation of worldly consciousness, becoming a branch of existence. Why? Because, the so-called differentiation of the Middle Way, refers to the fact that in the ultimate state, one hopes for no consciousness. As it is said in the Kashyapaparivarta Sutra: "O Kashyapa, furthermore, regarding form, neither differentiating it as permanent, nor differentiating it as impermanent, this is called the differentiation of the Middle Way towards dharmas. O Kashyapa, the so-called permanent, this is one extreme."

O! What is called impermanence is two extremes. What is in the middle of these two extremes? It is inconceivable, unpointable, non-dependent, non-manifest, non-discriminating, and without location. O Light Protector, this is the individual discernment of all dharmas through the Middle Way. O Light Protector, what is called self is one extreme. What is called selflessness is two extremes. O Light Protector, what is called existence is one extreme. What is called non-existence is two extremes. What is in the middle of these two extremes? It is inconceivable, unpointable, non-dependent, non-manifest, non-discriminating, and without location. O Light Protector, this is the individual discernment of all dharmas through the Middle Way. Thus, and so on, it was widely proclaimed. Therefore, abiding in the great Middle Way of self-nature emptiness, without wavering, is the supreme of meditation, that is, entering into peace in a state free from effort. After purifying from limitless doors, what is called the Middle Way is the path to enter into peace. Peace is nowhere to go. Because there is not the slightest place to go, all dharmas are equal in peace. This limitless adorned Middle Way is neither practice nor non-practice, therefore all graspable dharmas are equal in peace. Thus it was proclaimed, so in this place, only the Tathagata is the measure, there is no other, so one should not harbor the slightest doubt. Some people think that as long as it is the wisdom of individual discernment, it is tightly bound by the sharp analysis of views, and abandoning the intention of contemplating self-nature, there is no light of wisdom. Thinking thus, they quote the following true words: If the fire of true knowledge arises from true individual discernment, then like fire produced by rubbing wood, it will burn the wood of discrimination. Although this saying is quoted, its meaning is that, not relying on the causes and conditions of mind and intention, like a spark of fire arising from steel, but using the fire arising from the rubbing wood itself to burn the firewood itself as a metaphor, thereby explaining the light of true wisdom that does not rely on mind and thought, which is non-discriminating wisdom.
