It is extensively explained in the Sutra of the Essence of the Skandhas, the Ten Wheels. Our teacher's respect for the Three Jewels, even when the mind transformed into the image of an animal, did not diminish. Like the lion king, due to unwavering faith in the chosen deity, even when facing a hunter who would take his life, he trusted and respected the hunter disguised as a renunciate. Taking this as an example, one does not contemplate the faults of others. In general, the teacher Hero said, "To fight with wrong views, to look down on the poor, to dislike those who hold vows, to misunderstand ascetic vows, these four are not desired, they destroy the root." This is what is said. To summarize the meaning, the more respect one has for the Three Jewels, the more other beings will look at oneself in the same way. This is a result that does not deceive. As it is said in the Samadhiraja Sutra, "Having done what kind of karma, one will obtain what kind of result." Therefore, in order to show that this realization comes from respect, it is said, "Serve the supports of the Three Jewels with faith, abandon forgetting day and night, and take refuge." The reason for faith is that in the past, when the teacher had not yet come into the world, what was not refuge was taken as refuge, what was not the path was mistaken for the path, teachers who were immersed in afflictions, and following the path of the teachings, unbearable ascetic vows appeared. Now that the difference between self and other teachers and teachings has been understood, why not open the gate to entering faith? As it is said in the Visesastava, "The more one thinks about the tenets of other heretics, the more my mind develops faith in you, Protector. Thus, all those who are not omniscient, whose minds are ruined by the faults of their tenets, those who are ruined by wrong thoughts, do not see you, the faultless teacher." Therefore, the king's teaching is a path of ease, so the result obtained is also ease, it can cut the stream of samsara, it can purify afflictions, it can eliminate the accumulation of sins, and the qualities of completely turning to virtue are inexhaustible. The teachings of the outsiders are the opposite of this. At the feet of the Hero.

Because your teachings enable the attainment of bliss through bliss, therefore, all beings have faith in the doctrine of you, the Lion of Speech (Shakyamuni Buddha). Thus, with praises and the like, it is widely praised. Therefore, generate great faith in remembering kindness, and for the sake of the Tathagata's body, stupas, scriptures, etc., whether they are present or not, keep the memory of offering close for the sake of these alone, and serve with reverence. Even if there is only one object of contemplation, if you know that all things are the nature of the Dharma, inseparable, then you will be offering to all. Moreover, do not let others do it because of laziness, idleness, and drowsiness, but be sure to wipe it yourself, which is to take the essence from the body with action and accumulate great merit. Also, seeing that sentient beings have little accumulation of merit, suffer greatly, and have little power, thinking that if they make offerings, they will touch the fruit of happiness, and then let others do it. Then, driven by compassion and bodhicitta, the merit gained is greater than the former. In particular, if you have this thought, urge others, and you and others do it together, then you will gain even greater merit. As it says in the Essence of Madhyamaka: Whoever, like a water bubble or a banana tree, cultivates this body, which has no meaning, as an aid to benefiting others, will not cultivate Mount Meru into something meaningless. A virtuous person with compassion uses the body, which is the source of aging, death, and disease, as the basis for giving others happiness. For those who have the lamp of the true Dharma and are free from the eight unfavorable conditions, this leisure should be made fruitful by the actions of a great person. So it is said. Therefore, offer reverence from the gates of body, speech, and mind, prostrate, join palms, rise up, circumambulate, bow with the head, speak respectfully, sing praises, and give endless gifts of land, houses, gardens, etc., as well as jewels, musical instruments, armlets, necklaces, semoto, zidir, Brahmin threads, etc., bells, rattles, etc.

Offering half-nets, grains, scattering Karshapana coins, offering mandalas, and so on; and offerings obtained such as clothes, bedding, cushions, daily necessities, medicines for healing illnesses, horses and elephants, and so on; incense, body cleansing, house repairs, close contact, fragrant ointments, gold powder, compounded and natural incense, flower garlands, various musical instruments, lamps, and so on. Similarly, offering with ownerless offerings mentioned in sutras such as the 'Ratnamegha Sutra' and the 'Samayas', such as flowers, fruit trees, land, rivers, and precious treasures. Furthermore, these offerings should not be mixed with the defiled intention of belittling others, pleasing kings who have faith in the Buddha, hoping to gain profit, respect, and increased fame for oneself. Nor should they be obtained by stealing from things that are not in accordance with Dharma, or acquired through sinful means. In particular, the four immeasurable offerings that please the Buddhas, the three vows, the Three Jewels, the six perfections, remembering the meaning of profound emptiness, the three wisdoms, the four means of gathering disciples, and so on, completely gathering virtuous dharmas, are called the immeasurable offering of accomplishment, which is the great and complete offering. When making such offerings, one should generate six thoughts as explained in the 'Bodhicharyavatara', which produce immeasurable results: thinking that the Three Jewels are the unsurpassed field of merit; that they are as rare as the Udumbara flower; that they are the most supreme of all sentient beings; that their benefit to beings is unparalleled; that they appear only once in the three thousand great thousand worlds, and are unique; and that they are the basis of all worldly and transmundane perfections. Thus, one makes offerings. As it is said in the sutra: 'On the field of faith, cultivate the field of merit!' Like this, when encountering the unsurpassed field of merit, which is the source of all happiness and well-being in this life and the next, if one does not sow the precious seeds of the accumulation of virtue, then all happiness comes from the Three Jewels.
