Imputation is when something is imputed by conceptualization, even though it does not exist in the essence of anything. Examples include a rabbit's horn, and considering self where there is no self. All evil philosophical tenets that are in accordance with this, and all instances where something is labeled with a certain meaning but is merely assumed by the mind and does not exist in its own right or as an object, are included. As it says in the Yogacara texts: "All that is thoroughly conceptualized is created by the mind through delusion, even though it does not exist." There are two types of dependent arising: impure and pure. Impure dependent arising refers to the various appearances of the environment and its inhabitants, such as earth, stones, mountains, and rocks, which arise from the accumulation of habitual patterns of delusion. It also includes all impure delusions that arise at each of the sense gates, resulting in the appearance of high and low realms. Pure dependent arising refers to pure realms that appear as pure self-manifestations, as well as realms that appear to Buddhas in their pure vision, and the appearances of palaces and mansions. The argument that dependent arising is not valid has already been refuted by the perfectly enlightened, stainless light Buddha. Perfected nature has two aspects: unchanging and non-reversed. The first is that there are no two states of "this is delusion" and "this is not delusion." Rather, all phenomena are emptiness, the nature of reality that is inherently pure by nature. It is the sacred nature of reality that does not change, without past, present, or future. There are three types of emptiness: self-emptiness, other-emptiness, and both-emptiness. Self-emptiness refers to the absence of true inherent existence in any phenomenon. Other-emptiness refers to the imputation of the absence of other phenomena in relation to a particular phenomenon. Both-emptiness refers to the absence of duality in any phenomenon. The second is that although the accumulation of merit is not obstructed in the relative aspect of realizing the nature of reality as it is, in the ultimate sense, the path of liberation is inseparable from the accumulation of wisdom, as one realizes that all phenomena are empty in their own essence, like the sky. In this context of cause and effect, one relies on impure dependent arising, thereby accumulating virtuous and non-virtuous actions. From this, one experiences the corresponding results. Therefore, it is a mistake to assume that merely turning away from the ten non-virtuous actions constitutes the ten virtuous actions, because the mind has not been tamed.

It should be recognized that this is indeterminate. In the Middle Mother Sutra, it is also extensively stated, such as, "I myself have also abandoned killing." Therefore, the ten non-virtuous actions should be placed on the side of abandonment, and the ten virtuous actions should be placed on the side of practice. Its result is the meritorious virtuous actions that are unrelated to the path of liberation. With the small seven consciousnesses as the main component, it arises in accordance with the environment, and is a coarse consciousness arising from the dominant condition of the six senses, experiencing pleasure and pain, and is the person who desires happiness. The intermediate one will be reborn as a god in the desire realm. If the ten virtuous actions are very powerful, they will be used as a pull, and the reason for being reborn there is the abode of Brahma, and the habit of Samadhi in the ground and that place, thereby being reborn in the higher two realms. Among them, the form realm beings mainly have the Alaya consciousness and the entering consciousness, and the others exist as retinues. In the formless realm, only the Alaya consciousness is the main one, and the others are in a latent state, like a state of deep sleep, in which there is neither virtuous action nor actual evil action, but because it is born from the seed of ignorance in its own realm, it naturally accumulates great ignorance. Therefore, although the mind of meditative formlessness is the result of previous virtue, it is a meritorious virtuous action, and after it is exhausted, life will pass away, because its nature is indeterminate. Because liberation and the state of omniscience can be attained from the human body, it is also said to be a body superior to the gods. Even so, the Ratnavali says, "This Dharma liberates from hell, hungry ghosts, and animals, and in gods and humans, obtains happiness, glory, and increase of kingship, meditation, immeasurable and formless, experiences the happiness of Brahma, etc." Therefore, it can accomplish the benefits of the higher realms and close the doors of the lower realms, so it is called the vehicle of gods and humans or the path of the lesser person. It is associated with the virtuous actions that are in accordance with liberation, so it is also necessarily connected with goodness. Generally, for those who have the potential, the subtle roots of virtue are placed as seeds, and when the two conditions ripen, the ability awakens, and they will surely go to Bodhi.
