Offering to all the hungry ghosts, and the beings with old grudges and blood feuds, five hundred robbed mothers and children, and the assembly of eighty thousand kinds of obstructing spirits. Please do not create evil spirits and harm, do not rob power and authority, please abandon rudeness and cruelty. Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 嗡), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: 阿), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽)! Especially to all beings of the six realms, the five paths, and the four kinds of birth, who have become guests of compassion, and the two classes of hungry ghosts who are poor and destitute. From yesterday morning, or from the year, month, day, and hour of last year, they have abandoned their previous bodies and have not found their subsequent bodies. In the Bardo, in a frightening and dangerous place, there is no refuge or protection, no protector or friend, no past accumulations, and few virtuous deeds. The aggregates are composed of four names, the nature of feeling is suffering, tormented by fear and illusion, afflicted by the three sufferings of cold, hunger, and thirst, and the lifespan is uncertain, like a feather blown by the wind. Offering to all beings in the Bardo (670), led by so-and-so, who are deprived of the freedom to go anywhere. May they meet with a place to stay, friends, enjoyment, and abundant food and drink, and find peace. At the moment of such accomplishment, may they see the noble Avalokiteśvara and the Bodhisattva Sarvanivāraṇaviśkambhin, recognize the Bardo as the Bardo, dispel illusions, remember the Guru and the Three Jewels, the Yidam and the view, purify the obscurations of bad karma in an instant, and gain autonomy over awareness. May they be able to forcefully travel to the Pure Land of Sukhavati and Lotus Light, and other special realms. May the Buddhas be pleased by the offerings, may the vows of the Dharma protectors be fulfilled, may the wishes of the six realms be satisfied, and may the debts of past grudges be repaid. The pure land of the three realms, the compassionate guests of the three existences, the food that pervades all, by the power of the nature of reality, may they enjoy the inexhaustible treasure of desires. Do not do any evil deeds, etc., and also practice Dharma giving and dedication of merit. Composed by Rangjung Dorje with the intention of benefiting others. The method of redeeming oneself and others from death based on the red Torma.

To the serving guests, Although there is no need for food, But offer with the object of offering. May we complete the accumulation of merit, May we quickly see the wisdom! To the guests of the Lord of Qualities, Offer with the object of immaculate nectar. May it protect the obstacles that hinder the accomplishment of enlightenment From adverse conditions and unfavorable directions! May the guests of the six realms of compassion, In the enjoyment of their own desires, See and use the inexhaustible treasure. May they be joyful, satisfied, and rejoice, May each be free from suffering! To the guests of obstacles and karmic debts, May there be no victory or defeat in strife and contention. Whatever is desired in each one's mind, May it become an inexhaustible enjoyment, Purifying old grudges and debts, May harmful thoughts and grudges be purified! Especially for the life of others, The yakshas who hate extremely, And the harm of flesh-eating rakshasas and ghosts, Stealing life, plundering radiance, taking life, And those who crave flesh and blood, With this red offering (dmar gsur) universally bestowing desires, May they be satisfied, pleased, and harmonious, Abandoning anger and violent minds, May they possess the mind of enlightenment! By the unfailing cause and effect, And the truth of the Three Jewels, And the power of my pure intention, Like the power of love protecting the yakshas, Protecting one's own country, Ultimately benefiting oneself and others, May the lives of many beings be liberated from the fear of death! Whoever has come here, Whether dwelling on the earth or in the sky, Even if beings with malicious minds, May the mind of enlightenment arise in their continuum, Abandoning the malicious intent to harm others, May the seeds of liberation be sown! All phenomena arise from causes. Etc., dedicate the merit. In general, there is no fixed time, especially in the evening, when yakshas wander to harm the lives of others. At that time, mix the red offering, and with compassion and the mind of enlightenment in one's own continuum, commonly practice the giving of Dharma and material things. If this is done, the benefits are inconceivable. This was also written by Rigpa 'dzin pa mkhyen brtse'i lhas at the request of Klong gsal ba and Chos ldan pa.
