以不如法的方式所作的那些行为，为何必定不能特意宣说呢？对于断尽一切过失、圆满一切功德的导师释迦牟尼，也有善星比丘和提婆达多等外道六师等，视其为过失之聚。对于以前的班智达、堪布、师徒、国王大臣、菩萨们，也有苯教徒和恶劣大臣视其为罪过的集合。这与圣者无著看见弥巴玛·贡布的母狗下身爬满虫子没有差别。在《父子相见经》中也说，善逝化现为魔来利益众生，因此，将佛陀视为魔也是自己显现不净的缘故，要知道那些对境本来没有过失，反复思维，必须压倒将之视为过失的分别念。续义简要中说：对于上师的一切行为，都应视为佛陀的行为。如果睡眠或起身，应视为光明幻化之显现。无论作顶礼或绕行，都应显示为佛陀的嬉戏。舞蹈、姿态、欢笑时，是佛陀意念的行为者。无论显现愤怒或贪恋，都应视为佛陀的菩提。即使同时杀死一百人，也是佛陀利益众生。即使与八位妃子嬉戏，也是大乐智慧的大手印。无论显现何种欲望和希求，佛陀都是远离欲望的。一切都是佛陀的行为，无论做什么，见到的是善妙的道路。说什么，都是殊胜的妙法。想什么，都是遍知的光辉。上师的错谬，即使到世界尽头，也不会发生，如果发生，那只是显现为错谬的现象，是由于自己显现的念头不净。就像有眼疾的人看雪，虽然不可能总是黑色的，但却真实地看到黑色一样。就像黄疸病人看海螺，虽然海螺本来是白色的，却看到黄色一样。就像邪见者看水，即使没有血脓和武器，也看到脓血和武器一样。因此，对于上师的传记，如果产生邪见，就会阻断解脱之路。要知道这是调伏众生的善巧方便。

Why is it necessarily the case that those actions done in an improper manner cannot be specifically declared? Even Shakyamuni, the guide who has exhausted all faults and perfected all virtues, was seen as a collection of faults by the monk Good Star and the six heretical teachers such as Devadatta. Even those former pandits, abbots, teachers, king-ministers, and bodhisattvas were seen as a collection of faults by the Bonpos and wicked ministers. There is no difference from the noble Asanga seeing Mipa Ma Gonpo's female dog's lower body swarming with insects. In the Sutra of Meeting Father and Son, it is also said that the Sugata transforms into a demon to benefit sentient beings, therefore, seeing the Buddha as a demon is only due to one's own impure appearance, and one must be certain that there are no faults in those objects at all. By repeatedly thinking, one must overwhelm the conceptualization that sees them as faults. The Condensed Meaning of the Tantras says: All the actions of the lama, think of them as the actions of the Buddha. If sleeping or rising, look at the appearance as radiant illusion. Whatever prostrations and circumambulations are done, show them as the play of the Buddha. When dancing, gesturing, and laughing, (797) are the actions of the Buddha's intention. Whatever anger and attachment are shown, think of them as the Buddha's enlightenment. Even if a hundred people are killed at once, it is the Buddha benefiting beings. Even if playing with eight consorts, it is the great mudra of great bliss wisdom. Whatever desires and aspirations appear, the Buddha is free from desires. Everything is the action of the Buddha, whatever is done, seeing is the path of goodness. Whatever is said, is the holy Dharma of the supreme vehicle. Whatever is thought, is the glory of omniscience. The mistakes of the lama, even at the end of the world, will not occur, but if they do, they only appear as mistaken phenomena, due to the impurity of one's own appearance and thoughts. Just like a person with eye disease sees snow, although it is impossible for it to always be black, it is actually seen as black. Just like a jaundiced person sees a conch shell, although the conch shell is originally white, it is seen as yellow. Just like a person with wrong beliefs sees water, even if there is no blood, pus, or weapons, they see pus, blood, and weapons. Therefore, if wrong views arise in the biography of the lama, the path to liberation will be blocked. Know that this is the skillful means of taming beings.
