May the entrusted task be accomplished! May the entrusted task be accomplished! Thus spoke Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa to those who enter the path of the completion stage. (629) Here begins the fulfillment offering to the glorious Four-Faced Protector, called "Damchen Lacha." (630) If you wish to offer to the Great Black Vajra, arrange the substances that support the samaya in abundance. First, the blessing: cleanse with amrita (Tibetan: ཨྀ་མྲ་ཏ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमृत, Sanskrit Romanization: amrita, literal Chinese meaning: nectar), purify with svabhāva (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་ལྦ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva, literal Chinese meaning: self-nature). From the state of emptiness, within the triple world transformed into a bhāñjara (Tibetan: བྷཉྗར།, Sanskrit Devanagari: भञ्जर, Sanskrit Romanization: bhañjara, literal Chinese meaning: bhāñjara) mandala, the great offering arising from the slaying of enemies and obstructors: mountains of meat of ignorance, gravel of bones of hatred, an ocean of blood of desire, the intoxicating nectar of pride, jealousy appearing as desirable qualities—may these become the enjoyment of the vajra protectors, increasing and expanding! Om Heruka Argham, etc., Sarva Pancha Rakta Balingta Puja Ah Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཧེ་རུ་ཀ་ཨ་རྒྷཾ་སོགས་དང་། སརྦ་པཉྩ་རཀྟ་བ་ལཾ་ཏ་པཱུ་ཛ་ཨཱ་ཧཱུྃ།). Recite seven times. Second, the clear visualization: visualize yourself as Heruka, and in front of you, within the terrifying, inconceivable palace of the charnel ground, amidst the turbulent waves of dark blue and black blood arising from the Dharmadhatu, upon a variegated lotus and sun disc, marked with a dark blue and black curved knife Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hum), from which emanates the glorious Great Black Vajra, with four faces, dark blue and black, in the guise of a wrathful rakshasa, upon a red and yellow corpse. The root face is dark blue and black, with four fangs fiercely biting and severing the flourishing of former enemies. The right face is white and smiling, protecting yogis like a son. The left face is red and open, subduing the three realms. The upper face is black and fierce, reducing external enemies to dust. Each face has three round, red eyes blazing, (631) adorned with a crown of five dry skulls. The hair, beard, and eyebrows are dark black and stand erect. Of the four hands, the first right hand holds a curved knife, cutting the root of grasping and the grasped. The first left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood, uprooting the six realms of samsara. These two are held above and below at the heart. The lower right hand holds a khatvanga, crushing present enemies. The lower left hand holds a garland of bones, and in the armpit rests an intoxicating vase, bestowing siddhis upon practitioners. In the midst of the flames of the eon's end, standing with the right leg bent and the left leg extended, adorned with a yellow silk thread around the waist, a necklace of fifty fresh skulls, six bone ornaments, and a tiger skin.
