From... onwards, do not be stingy, but spread the essentials, making offerings that please the guests, and attaining accomplishments for oneself. Wisdom deities have no size, this is to accumulate one's own merit. As it is said, do not be stingy or arrogant, if available, such as water, etc.; even if not available, use pure essence flour, without rottenness, etc., in short, be free from all faults, and the materials should be pure, just as one feels satisfied when eating it oneself. Moreover, it should not be directly snatched from the hands of others, nor secretly stolen (147), etc. It is not contaminated by filth, causing guests not to come, not to be happy, etc., this is called purity. Those with such materials should take out a little of the three whites in advance, cook it slightly, and make food for external offerings. The scriptures say: Rice and other pure foods, or meat, wine, garlic, onions, ginger, and other improperly mixed foods. As it is said, some people misunderstand this principle, make food in advance, and do not distinguish the quality of the materials. Some say: Visualization is the most important, so they do it casually and messily, which is just not distinguishing between internal and external offerings. When we enjoy food, if we put everything mixed together in the stomach, regardless of hot, cold, sweet, and salty, and eat it mixed, it will not taste good, and even cause poisoning, etc., resulting in faults. Similarly, one should pay great attention to the difference between the object of offering and the items offered. Then, when actually cooking, add the undamaged nectar vase, the essence of wine, the three whites and three sweets, etc., and the thickness should only be like the tsampa that one eats oneself, not too thin. Jowo Rinpoche said: Tibetans will not be rich because the tsampa is made too thin. As it is said, do not make it thinner than that. If it is a long-term practice, the ingredients should also be adjusted according to the season, and determined according to the instructions. Second, the classification of Torma. The scriptures say: During the practice, there is the support Torma, and the method of setting up the Torma practice comes from others. As it is said, if classified in detail, the treasure of Gyalwa Drikungpa, the profound teaching of Tidro Drak says: For those with the confidence of yogic view, Torma
