May the New Year be filled with joy and prosperity! May there be the necessity to enjoy the fruits of attaining both benefits! These are auspicious words for this very moment. Secondly, the uncommon preliminaries are divided into two: removing obstacles and accomplishing favorable conditions. The first is divided into three: giving offering cakes to the virtuous friends who abide by their vows on the difficult side, entrusting them with activities; dedicating ransom cakes to the black side of spirits who obstruct virtuous deeds, and then expelling and subjugating them (page 121); and explaining how to meditate on the protective circle that can never be destroyed. The first is divided into four: commonly blessing the lower ones, issuing commands, generating pride, and giving offerings to entrust them with activities. The first is: In a clean vessel, for the white side, golden drink and turquoise made from the three whites, the three sweets, and grains. In one vessel, for the black side such as the year of occurrence and karmic debts, around the special ransom objects of the practitioner siblings and sponsors, place offering cakes, wine residue, butter lamps, rice, meat, wine, pieces of cloth, hair, nails, and so on. Sprinkle with clean water. The actual blessing is divided into two: clearly visualizing oneself as the deity and distinguishing the visualization differences of the six-syllable mantra and the six mudras. The first is: From the state of equanimity previously mixed and inseparable from the assembly field, on a lotus and moon seat, from a silver Hrīḥ (ཧྲཱིཿ, hrīḥ, seed syllable) instantly recall and complete the manifestation of Avalokiteśvara Khasarpaṇi, whose body is huge, and if everything can be manifested, then generate pride as vast as the ocean. From emptiness, on a lotus and moon seat, etc., and (ཨཱོྃ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུཾ།, oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Om Mani Padme Hum). Recite the heart mantra. As a symbol of skillful means, great compassion, and wisdom of emptiness, and the indivisibility of these two, recite three times with a peaceful and gentle mind. The meaning of such a mantra is: generally combined with the seeds of the six realms. If distinguished in detail, although it cannot cover all purity, recollection, and clarity, in the context of this tradition, (ཨཱོྃ་, oṃ, Om) is mind and dharmata free from elaboration. (མ་, ma, Ma) is mind and dharmata self-arising. (ཎི་, ṇi, Ni) is mind and dharmata self-illuminating. (པད་, pad, Pad) is mind and dharmata clear and increasing. (མེ་, me, Me) is mind and dharmata empty and illuminating. (ཧཱུྃ་, hūṃ, Hum) is mind and dharmata primordially pure. This was explained by the emanation king Songtsen Gampo (སྲོང་བཙན་སྒམ་པོ, Songtsen Gampo, c. 605-650). The second has six sets of five.

There are (122). The first is: the Mudra of Establishment, the Mantra of Recitation, the Deity of Generation, the Seed Syllable, and the Benefit of Blessing. Among these, the Mudra of Establishment is: a gesture representing the emptiness of Dharmata, with the palms joined together, the inside of the palms empty. The Mantra of Recitation is: Oṃ svabhāva śuddho sarva dharma svabhāva viśuddho 'haṃ. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). This mantra is the special essence that destroys objects with characteristics, therefore it is widely known. Explaining the meaning of the mantra: First, Oṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is the leader of the five wisdoms. In the context of the Early Translation School, it is necessary to add Oṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). Although some dictionaries prohibit adding it, it is generally considered unnecessary, but this is not established. In all the native language mantras of the Early Translation School, it is indispensable because there is a reason. It represents the five wisdoms and the five bodies: A (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) represents the Dharmadhatu Wisdom, the deity is Vairochana; Ṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) represents the Mirror-like Wisdom, the deity is Vajrasattva; Na (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) represents the Wisdom of Equality, the deity is Ratnasambhava; Zla-tshes (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) represents the Discriminating Wisdom, the deity is Amitabha; Thig-le (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) represents the Wisdom of Accomplishing Activities, the deity is Amoghasiddhi. Oṃ. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Therefore, in this bindu, the five Buddha families are spontaneously accomplished. As the Tantra says: A (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is Akshobhya Vairochana, Na-ro (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is Ratnasambhava, Zla-tshes (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is Amitabha, Thig-le (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is Amoghasiddhi. This is said to be the letter of the meaning to be represented. However, some translators argue with a one-sided view, which is like the view of the blind, and is a matter of ridicule. Even in the case of the example of representing meaning - rational treatises, as stated in "The Source of Dharma - The Sun of Dharma," there is no contradiction in adding it. Generally, according to the commentary on the Magical Net, the view of Lama Rongzompa is (123) that Oṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is the combination of A (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), U (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), and Ma (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), so Oṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is also considered the seed of the three vajras. Svabhāva (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is nature, Śuddho (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is pure, Sarva dharma (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is all dharmas. Svabhāva viśuddho 'haṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) means that nature is completely pure. The sound of A-nya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) refers to pride. In summary, all dharmas included by the duality of samsara and nirvana are completely pure in their nature. Therefore, the one who distinguishes between pure and impure is also one's own mind.
