Therefore, it demonstrates the intention to enter into Nirvana. Secondly, it is for the purpose of subduing sentient beings who are wandering in samsara. Thirdly, just as in the past, the Tathagata was requested by the lay disciple Cunda, I also request you to light the lamp of the teachings until samsara is empty, and to remain without entering Nirvana. Such a request is the sixth limb, the antidote to wrong views, which is remembering the meaning. One should recite the verses: Those victorious ones who wish to enter Nirvana... etc. Fourthly, the benefits of doing so are as stated in the sutra: Listen, King Brahma, the merit of your prayer to the Bhagavan is particularly excellent, the Buddhas do not enter Nirvana. As it is said. The limbs of dedicating the accumulated roots of virtue to enlightenment are three: the clarity of the merit to be dedicated, the absence of attachment to the object of dedication, and the reason for the necessity of dedication. Firstly, the virtue of self and others, all sentient beings, belonging to the three times of past, present and future, with or without attachment of the three doors, done by oneself, or caused to be done by others, or rejoicing in what others have done, in short, all the collections of merit that are not inverted and can be dedicated. Secondly, dedicating in the realm of the Vajrayana, with the three circles completely pure and without attachment, is the seventh limb, the antidote to doubt or non-prediction, through the door of remembering the key points. One should dedicate with the verses: The virtue accumulated by self and others in the three times... etc. Thirdly, the reason for the necessity of dedication will be explained in detail below in the section on the concluding dedication. Generally speaking, only the seven limbs are widely known in the common Sutra tradition, but there are many different explanations of these limbs according to the differences in the objects of focus. And here, this treasure teaching has many unique self-spoken key instructions, which the wise should examine. Furthermore, in general Tantra and many reliable Sakya treasure teachings, there are those called the ten limbs, which are consistent with the general practice, with invocation and abiding at the beginning, and aspiration prayers added at the end, and in some cases, there are eight limbs combined with verses of refuge, etc.

Not clinging to extreme views at all. Second, the benefit of the general summary is: This is extremely important. Generally, all the gateways for accumulating merit are included in this. In particular, for the Paramita Vehicle, it is said that one needs to accumulate merit for three countless eons. This is not a fabrication, but by quoting the explicit theory of numbers, it ultimately concludes that "countless is the ultimate." Therefore, it is said that one needs to accumulate merit for three countless eons. If one grasps these special key points, one can perfect countless merits in an instant. The Omniscient Dharma King (Tsongkhapa) said, "If the mind is strong, one can accumulate the merit of many eons in each instant." Therefore, there is no need to accumulate merit for three countless eons as usual. For the Secret Mantra, this is directed towards those with extremely sharp faculties. By continuously training, the powerful mind can accumulate countless merits in each instant. Therefore, it is possible to attain liberation in one lifetime. As it is said in "The Lamp of Three Methods": "Many methods and no difficulties, Those with sharp faculties are empowered, The Mantra Vehicle is particularly superior." Therefore, if one does not understand such permissions and prohibitions, but only elaborates on empty words, and even just reads aloud, but piles up understanding with complicated theories, those ignorant people dare to compete with the deeds of the saints and speak nonsense, which is pitiful! Fourth, taking vows and commitments is divided into two parts: how to take them, and finally, obtaining accomplishments in the field of merit and summarizing them. The first part is divided into four points: the Pratimoksha vows, the Bodhisattva precepts, the vows of the Vidyadhara Mantra, and integrating all of these into the realm of Great Perfection beyond thought, making them free from protection and boundaries. The first point is: From now on, for all the sins, transgressions, and violations accumulated from beginningless samsara, especially the Pratimoksha vows, etc., in short, for all matters that should be guarded through the three doors of body, speech, and mind, one must guard them meticulously. If there were any violations in the past, one must also restore them through strong confession and vows, performing the posadha (fasting) according to the seasons with three kinds of awareness to restore the Pratimoksha vows, etc. The seven categories of Pratimoksha vows are: Bhikshu and Bhikshuni parents, Shramanera and Shramanerika parents, and Bhikshuni, i.e., the ordained community.
