In order to dispel doubts for those who are attached and ignorant, I will briefly explain the definitive points. The way the self's (829) path naturally abides, seen through the pure wisdom arising from meditation, has already been discussed above and will continue to be explained. In particular, the views of the Svatantrika Madhyamaka school have been grasped by the Prasangika Madhyamaka school. According to Atisha's method of sudden entry, for things with form, they are aggregates of minute particles. If one analyzes and examines them by dividing them into parts, then even the extremely small parts will not remain, and even the extremely obvious parts will not exist. That which is without form is mind. Like this, the past mind has ceased and vanished, and the future mind has not yet arisen or occurred. The present mind, like this, is also extremely difficult to ascertain, without color, without shape, like space, it cannot be established, or it is separate from one and many, or it is unborn, or its nature is luminous, etc., it cannot be established even when analyzed and examined with the weapon of wisdom. Thus, since both cannot be established in any essence and are merely non-existent, then the discriminating wisdom itself cannot be established either. For example, just as two pieces of wood are rubbed together to produce fire, and due to the action of the fire, the two pieces of wood are burned and disappear, and after the wood disappears, the fire that burned them also naturally subsides. When all phenomena of self and common characteristics are established as non-existent, then wisdom itself appears non-existent, and luminosity cannot be established in any essence, so all faults such as sinking and agitation are eliminated. During that time, consciousness does not discriminate anything, does not grasp anything, and abandons all memory and attention, and one should let consciousness abide in that state until the sign or the enemy of discrimination or the thief does not arise. Thus it is said. Therefore, through this profound vidya-mantra of the Prajnaparamita, whatever is a thought is discrimination; whatever is discrimination, (830) is not contradictory to clinging, and even in the ultimate state, it can repel the great demon of flesh-eating. If that is the case, since the dharma of memory is completely diminished, isn't it dissimilar to the indeterminate state of the five mindlessness states mentioned in the Madhyantavibhaga, such as deep sleep and fainting? Those are also methods.

If it is grasped, how can it become a prophecy? Even if it is made into a common object, there is no similar situation. Because mindfulness and attention are established through the antidote to what is to be abandoned, in this case, the wisdom of discernment arises, and it is the taker of mind, speech, thought, intention, birth, characteristics, and so on. Here, the wisdom that is free from mind sees the Dharma nature without mindfulness, the wisdom that is free from speech understands the meaning of the scriptures, the wisdom that is free from thought is not confused about the abode of self-nature, the wisdom that transcends intention appears as the higher seeing of the exhaustion of mindfulness, the wisdom that cuts off birth is liberated from afflictions, and the wisdom that is free from characteristics understands the distinction of non-discrimination. From the aspect of understanding, the mind, which is naturally luminous, is extremely pure, and is the basis for the manifestation of all qualities such as the eye and clairvoyance, retention and exhaustion, wish-wisdom and the ten powers, and it never ceases. Here, in the state of the Paramita's own path, the difference between Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is that, in the hundred thousand verses, Subhuti, for example, entering is also different, and abiding in the fruit is also different, but it should not be said that these two are not noble beings. Subhuti, similarly, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is one who has entered the unobstructed path. The Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddha is one who has attained unobstructed wisdom in all dharmas. Subhuti, that is the difference between a Bodhisattva Mahasattva and a Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddha. A Bodhisattva cultivates the six Paramitas and the sixteen emptinesses and abides in them, and then attains Buddhahood. The Tathagata is said to be counted as a Tathagata because he attains perfect enlightenment with the wisdom of instantaneous wisdom. Therefore, it explains the order of the path and the way of liberation, the four stages of the path of learning, and the way of obtaining qualities at the time of no learning, and the great light empowerment of the Buddhas is obtained by the Bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis in the post-attainment state.
