Thus, entering the first bhumi of the noble path, up to the samadhi of the Tathagata's goodness, traversing the ten stages of the path of meditation is the ultimate of the four paths of learning. Similarly, in the mantra path, there are the three vajras (སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་ཀྱི་རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ།, Sanskrit: kāya-vāk-citta-vajra-traya, Sanskrit Romanization: kaya-vak-citta-vajra-traya, three vajras of body, speech, and mind), the five Abhisambodhis (མངོན་པར་བྱང་ཆུབ།, Sanskrit: Abhisambodhi, Sanskrit Romanization: Abhisambodhi, manifest enlightenment), the four mudras, the emission and retraction of rays, and the meditation on the completion stage, etc. In short, whether with or without an object of focus, any aspect that is designated as meditation, if all of that is summarized, it can be summarized into the two truths. Among the two truths, all the truths of the path are conditioned phenomena, and all conditioned phenomena are conventional truths. From the unborn, the pacification of all elaborations, the name "ultimate" is established. So it is. The so-called "ten practices of Dharma" are stable. Whether there are earlier commentaries or not, I do not know. This is like a bubble emerging from the midst of a slow-flowing river, emerging from the midst of the white light of altruistic mind. Because of the accumulation of countless thoughts, the mind has become clear, and because of the dullness of the senses, the forms of letters have filled it. Therefore, if I make mistakes in this spontaneous spark of wisdom, I confess to the all-knowing ones. By the merit of not adhering to the views of the wise or famous, may all beings touch the state of all-knowingness. Written by Mahāsandhipa Abhaya. Chapter Fifty-Five of the Collection of Talks. Words of Remembrance, called Ocean of Qualities. Homage to the All-Knowing One. The Dzogchenpa Rangjung Dorje (1284-1339) has reverence for Konchok (the Three Jewels) and renunciation. Together with the invisible hermits and meditators in the sacred hermitage of the Auspicious Land of Immortality.

For this reason, I consulted all the good lamas, great practitioners, and fellow Dharma friends. However, the lama who can show the momentary thought of self-knowing awareness as the essence of practice is none other than you, the supreme lama. Earlier, when I looked at the "Supreme Vehicle Treasury," I developed an unparalleled devotion to Gyalwa Longchenpa. I saw a prophecy that every hundred years, an emanation of Vimala would appear in succession, proclaiming the unique view of the Great Perfection, so I always prayed for it. All the past diligence is concentrated here. Now, I ask you, after recognizing the inexpressible co-emergent view, is it sufficient to cultivate it on its nature with just one recollection? Bhikshu, know that the root of all Dharmas lies in mindfulness. The protector Nagarjuna said: "The powerful body, speech, and mind, the mindfulness of the Sugata's conduct, this single path, is thus proclaimed. Therefore, strive diligently, manifestly protect it, if mindfulness declines, all Dharmas will be destroyed." Thus, without mindfulness, what to speak of the activities of hearing, thinking, and meditating? Even the world cannot be accomplished. In samsara, all the discriminated activities, merely the words written as "scripture and realization," are manifested in this way through the connection with the spiritual friend. Moreover, forgetting causes the loss of meaning, forgetting causes the destruction of things, forgetting leads to external disasters, leads to madness, leads to confusion of consciousness, leads to being possessed by spirits, leads to not understanding the meaning of words, all of these are due to the decline of mindfulness. If we look at the practice of the path to Nirvana, first, those who do not remember the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, the auspicious coincidence of meeting the Dharma will not be complete. Even if one accidentally enters the Dharma path, one will quickly deviate from the precepts set by the teacher because one does not have mindfulness and awareness. This is also because one does not fundamentally remember death. Once death is forgotten, everything one does is occupied by the trivialities of this life. At that time, the untamed mind will forget the cause and effect of what to abandon and what to adopt, such as the ten non-virtues and ten virtues, neither fearing the faults of samsara nor rejoicing in the benefits of liberation. The mind is distracted by noise and household affairs, and from this arises pride, thereby losing and forgetting the benefits of future lives, just like a foolish person is intoxicated by alcohol. How is this so? In the "Sutra of the Array of Merits," it says: "For example, a person is intoxicated and violent from drinking alcohol."
