With hundreds of thousands gathered, Houses built everywhere in the world, And unparalleled natural rock shelters, The appearance of this life (743) ceases in an instant upon seeing them. In places invisible in all directions, The differences between valleys and depressions vary, Fully opening the opportunity to dispel sorrow, Like stillness and insight being called as guests. Here, there is no clamor of ordinary people, Let alone the thorns of words of hatred? The murmuring sound of the flowing water slowly moving, Also urges death to come quickly. The verdant fields that have completely abandoned anger, Are extremely beautiful because of the faces of tender green sprouts, Again summoning those who desire asceticism, Busy showing the source of uncultivated crops. The dust of the layered petals of blue lotuses, Is熏染ed by various flowers and fruits, The resting place of the branches of the श्रेष्ठ trees, Is like raising a cool fan for the practitioners. The top of the soft and curved vine shoots, Is like the trembling of the Sarala tree seduced by coral, The distant song of the blue cuckoo bird, Extremely urges new sorrows never before experienced. Even the snow mountain maiden in her prime of youth, Has not been able to take away its beauty, The brilliance of the vermilion mole painted on her cheeks, These flocks of sensory birds arise from seeing. Attached to the pistils of newly grown lotus flowers in the water, These extremely intoxicated bees, between each other, Are not harming but are mutually intimate, May I also generate the merit of the mind of enlightenment. Here, there are no playmates for children, Therefore, it is impossible to find the behavior of evil nature, Even the beasts are trying to avoid me, Departing with the appearance of the firmness of anger fading. Reducing the wealth of others, harming lives, Mixed with various deceptive means, The herds of deer that do not rely on food and drink, Fully display a peaceful and gentle demeanor, My heart also becomes gentle and certainly tamed. Even the lords of death, who cannot be crushed by the power of the senses, Are also paying homage to the practitioner living in the forest (744), Who would not like the quiet forest? The necessity of going to such a quiet place, Is also to avoid being confused by the appearance of external objects, Because external objects and the clinging mind, Are mutually dependent.

Therefore, for my sake, The vow of endurance, the armor of courage, is firm. Relying on mindfulness, diligence is continuous. Thoughts of desire, anger, attachment, and stinginess, Are cherished like a sudden thunderbolt, rootless and without a place. If you don't equip yourself with the armor of courage for this, Various appearances are seduced and lured by circumstances, More easily than a monkey performing a play, You are deceived by illusions that are even faster. With the courage to endure others' wrongdoings, And the vow to endure hardships for the sake of Dharma, If you don't cultivate the perseverance of those with initial karma, How can the profound meaning arise in humans? Therefore, as much as harm increases, The faults arising from the causes and effects of what needs to be addressed, Carefully examine and analyze the benefits of patience, Meditate on happiness and joy as much as it increases. The evils of worldly distractions and sinful friends, And the misconduct of associating with childish friends, These corrupt morality and destroy many vows. Because one's own degraded Dharma is criticized by people, Strive to be as cautious as guarding a wound. Placing the burden of shame on oneself, Even fearing words of mockery and ridicule, Become accustomed to guarding mindfulness. Even when staying in solitude, due to sleep and laziness, Like arrears in paying vow taxes, The demon of laziness that deceives oneself, Protect it for a moment with the power of diligence. Desires are a great downfall, Accumulating them like bees only impoverishes oneself. Guarding them like a hungry ghost guarding treasure is tiring. Being deceived by cunning turns one into a thief. Affection and hatred diminish the splendor of a great kingdom. The face of shame is instantly weakened, Reputation wanders into a dangerous abyss. Well examine its nature and practice contentment. Likewise, the faults of anger are immeasurable, The radiance of a beautiful face also changes and fades. The love from the heart also gradually diminishes. Harsh words, like sharp thorns, attract enemies. This illusion of binding and striking each other, Can quickly destroy even the greed of a king, Let alone the invisible trees of virtue, They will be burned in an instant, flee from that fire. Merely clinging to something can, Completely steal the life of liberation from the household, And increase attachment and aversion.
