The special feature of great kindness is that it possesses faith, desire, aspiration, and the practice of the six perfections of the precious Bodhicitta (594). By making the offering of dependent arising and emptiness as the main ritual, if one can make all sentient beings follow and eventually accomplish it, then even the sudden disasters caused by non-virtue, as well as the fierce activities of the four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, will be controlled by the lords of the ten powers. Therefore, with the great asceticism of not abandoning the activities of the four fearlessnesses, seeing the form body will not cause displeasure, and one will be very pleased with those who have faith. Whenever one does not deviate from the nature of the seven vajra dharmas, and constantly relies on the ever-turning wheel of Dharma, one can completely uproot all the declines of the world, which are merely controlled by karma and afflictions, and are as tightly connected as being surrounded by four great cities. Thus, may the self-nature be rich and prosperous, peaceful, with good harvests, filled with beings and people, and without disputes and conflicts, without epidemics and famines, without attachment and jealousy, and satisfied with the glory of self-sovereignty. Therefore, we pray for the opportunity to open and enjoy the age of perfection, may it be so accomplished. O Bodhisattvas, please consider benefiting sentient beings, may all wishes be fulfilled! May whatever the Protector thinks in his heart benefit all sentient beings! The thirty-second chapter of the "Collection of Talks" is complete. The talk about Guru Padmasambhava and the precious footprint relics. The treasure of Shakyamuni Buddha's teachings, the chariot of Shantarakshita, the accomplished Padmasambhava, who embodies the conduct of all Buddhas, King Trisong Detsen, who is called the guest of the two saints (595), I prostrate to the translators, pandits, wise ones, and accomplished ones! In the glorious Samye Monastery, the unchanging and spontaneously accomplished temple, regarding the representative of Guru Padmasambhava, which has not gained fame as a banner, its origin is: In the southern continent of Jambudvipa, there are five great continents, and in southern India, there are nine continents, namely the eastern Bala continent, the southern Beta continent, and the western Oddiyana continent.

To the north is the continent of Kashmir, to the southeast is the continent of Khangbu, to the southwest is the Copper Continent, to the northwest is the Wind Continent, and to the northeast is the continent of Kamarupa. In the center are places like Vajrasana. Among them, in the west, is Oddiyana Dhuma Thala, or the kingdom of the flying ones. King Indrabodhi, who ruled over the kingdom of the flying ones, had no son, and in order to have a prince, he gave away all his treasures. By the power of this truth, he conceived the idea of going to the ocean, and so he prepared the equipment for a ship. He went together with the minister Trigna Dzin. A wish-fulfilling jewel came to greet him, and as the most excellent of sons, he found Guru Tso Kyé Dorje (Lake Born Vajra), an emanation of Buddha Amitabha, appearing in the lotus flower's pistil. He invited him to the palace and placed him on the throne. He enjoyed happiness with the daughter of King Chandra Kumara, Light-Possessing Mother. The prophecy of Vajrasattva urged him that there was no essence in royal power, and a great renunciation arose, and his delight in the qualities of desire gradually faded. Because of this, he destroyed the laws of the kingdom with the guise of outrageous behavior, and the assembly of ministers deliberated to banish him to different lands. Indrabodhi was oppressed by great sorrow, but he had no freedom not to banish him, so he offered the wish-fulfilling jewel to dispel poverty. At that time, the prince said, "What use is the jewel of my father (596) to me? Make this a companion to the jewel." He gave the saliva from his tongue to the king. That saliva immediately became a wish-fulfilling jewel that fulfills wishes. Likewise, the queen, Light-Possessing Mother, cried out, "Outside is a garland, where are you going, stainless and immaculate? I too will go with you." Because of this lament, he sprinkled the saliva from his tongue on the pile of precious jewels offered by the four great kings, the gods, nagas, and humans. This statue, a precious representation, arose naturally and was given to Light-Possessing Mother as a symbol, and it was placed as the main object of veneration in the nine-storied palace. After some time, hundreds of thousands of dakinis invited him to the charnel ground of Oddiyana, where black clouds gather, and made him the object of their practice and feast gatherings. Then, the emanation of the venerable Manjushri, the Dharma King Trisong Detsen

When starting to build the Vajra Seat of the three unchanging ways, the great Samye Monastery, hail fell on Marpo Ri from Tangla. The palace of Shampo responded in the manner of Phangthang. The gods and demons caused great commotion and rough transformations, and the ignorant Tibetans said it was because of building the temple. They would not even allow the temple to be built. To counter the fierce yakshas, the second Buddha, the great teacher Padmasambhava, was invited. On his way, he gradually subdued the gods and demons. He exchanged the mountains of Mangyul, Palbar, with each other. He split the middle of the Khara mountain. He moved the Ne'u Thang and forests of Samye back and forth. Gravel turned into green meadows. He created a great channel for the Phu Chu River. He placed the fierce gods and demons under an oath that they could not overcome. The temple was built without obstacles. He performed the consecration and enthronement ceremonies. In this land of snow mountains, he made the precious teachings of the Buddha shine like the sun and moon, becoming the sole cause. Later, when Atisha saw the Sanskrit texts in Kordzö Ling, he thought that the teachings that had flourished in Tibet had not even appeared in India. He thought, "I am not proficient in the treatises of the Great Vehicle." Because the Dharma that was famous in India appeared in Tibet, Padmasambhava had taken it from the secret treasury of the dakinis. Hearing that the secret mantras of the Great Vehicle were boundless, he felt very proud. He praised and rejoiced in the Dharma Kings of Tibet. Although Padmasambhava showed the manner of quickly departing to impure appearances such as evil ministers, in reality, for a long time, he stayed in many solitary places such as the eight great caves and the four great snow mountains, and blessed many practice places, supports of body, speech, and mind. He buried countless treasures. In the southern Mon region such as Bumthang and Drak Ley Treng, he left one hundred and eight body images. He left footprints on the rocks in the four directions. He left handprints on the four great lakes, and displayed countless miraculous displays. Finally, before departing to the southwest Rakshasa country, in the unchangeable Maitreya temple of Trandruk, he opened the mandala of the ocean of gathered teachings to the prince Mutik Tsenpo, the dakini Yeshe Tsogyal, the queen, and the nuns, and ripened and liberated them. At that time, they prayed: You are going to the southwest Rakshasa
