As it is said, if one practices in this place, one will undoubtedly attain supreme accomplishment. Connecting with this place, circumambulating, accumulating gatherings, making offerings, and even abandoning the body here, are endowed with inconceivable merits. Therefore, one should accumulate merit and purify obscurations from many doors, and properly maintain them with dedication and aspiration prayers. Prostrations, offerings, and so on, and may the gods send down rain in due season, and so on. This was written by Rangjung Dorje, a Dzogchenpa, at the request of Tshe'i Rigjedpa, who is named Chu Kye. The thirty-first chapter of the Collection of Talks. At the Samye Monastery (built around 767 AD, located in present-day Zhanang County, Shannan, Tibet), a stupa made of five hundred taels of white silver and two measures of copper stone was offered to the main temple, and the words "The Ear Ornament of Joyful Illusion" were composed to pray for its firm and lasting existence. Whoever possesses the ten powers, if the adornment of names does not arise in the ear, by what merit shall one live? The compassionate essence of all the guides of the Fortunate Aeon, Prince Trisong Detsen (c. 742-797), manifested the essence of emptiness and compassion as the jewel on the crown of the snowy mountains. The wisdom mind essence of the spontaneously accomplished Three Jewels of glorious Samye is that, from beginningless time, although enlightenment has been realized, the realm of beings is not diminished by the illusory body, which is not truly conditioned. Therefore, in the nature of the fruit, in the realization of the path of learning, it is shown to be vast, showing that it does not transgress the four objects of collection and the youthfulness of the six perfections. Transcending the merit of desire and the two extremes of the afflictions of ordinary beings. Realizing the nature of clairvoyance, wisdom, and awareness, generating the eye and wisdom that do not enter nirvana, and destroying the peak of the mountain that looks at conditioned things. The Dharma eye is free from dust. Constantly relying on the eight branches of the noble path, making the Vajra Seat narrow, it does not change from the nature of the Buddhas. Although it is not the grasping of the five aggregates, nor is it oppressed by the Dharma nature of the truth of suffering, the form body possesses all aspects. I pray that you will not enter nirvana.
