Essence. From ignorance arises the conceptual constructs, appearing as other-powered demonic influences, listen! In the cycle of existence manifested by karma, there is no one who is not connected by the karmic debts of parents, friends, love, and hatred. Taking oneself as an example, abandon thoughts and actions that harm others. Generate the supreme mind of peaceful enlightenment. Especially, for us vidyadharas, for those who have placed and protected these under the refuge of the mind of aspiration and entry, may they be free from human and animal epidemics, frost, hail, drought, crop failure, famine, strife, landslides, animal plagues, droughts, bad omens, and all the harms caused by the wrath of the Eight Classes. Abandoning these, with friendship, help, and protection, not listening to the words of truth, violating vows and seals, may the gods of the three realms become giants, the terrifying and fear-inducing Heruka, burn with the sun and moon blazing with eyes of hatred. With the four mudras of summoning, binding, restraining, and intoxicating, cast them into the prison of the fierce “ཨེ་”(Tibetan, Devanagari: ए, Romanized Sanskrit: e, Literal Chinese meaning: e). With the iron scorpion, the tsa-tsa of the wrathful one, and the harshness of the vajra fire rain, may the heads of the demon forms gathered by the Eight Classes be severed, and their names and forms burned. May the consciousness be “ཕཊ”(Tibetan, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: phaṭ) in the realm of dharma. In these three realms, those who have autonomy, none do not cherish life. Therefore, for the manifestation of violent actions, remember the punishment of actions. From the kingdom of Rakshasa demons, convey to the assembly of the Eight Classes of spirits. Samaya. Idanna rakkana (571). End of the twenty-fourth chapter of the Collection of Talks. The talk on conveying to the demonic hosts of the ten directions, called "The Crest of the Non-Gods." Homage to the glorious Horse Supreme Player. From the pure essence, the compassionate wrathful demeanor arises, the body is red-black, possessing the great mudra of the nine dances. Aiming at ease, slaying the evil guides. The vajra rakshasa's words that destroy pride. Although noisy and clamorous, their form cannot be seen. With an ugly appearance, possessing the evil yakshas. Stealing the radiance of tea, extracting the essence of alcohol, those with the cruelty of frozen fish, listen! The lord of the lotus field, Avalokiteshvara, inseparable from him, the wrathful red-faced Hayagriva and Garuda. Although now suppressing the Rakshasas of the southwest, as in the past, in order to care for Tibet, with a mind hostile like Pasang, greatly angered at you who suppress others, like a cow being healed by the sun, Maraya threatens with manifest harsh actions. Obscuration demons and madness, demons of heat and cold, lords of fire, water, wind, etc. Fierce Rakshasas, Gandharvas, Kumbhandas, etc. Demons of the ten directions with the forms of foxes, birds, and dogs. Paralysis, stiffness, leprosy, and the evil spirits possessed by dragons. Flesh-eating curses, troublemaking, and the eight classes of spirits who cause harm. Noisy, sudden plagues, and types of fierce ghosts. Having settled in the city of Yamantaka, A collection of rough thoughts and actions as stiff as horns. Wandering in places and preying on innocent beings' Flesh, blood, etc., and chronic diseases. Abandon harming the essence of land, fields, crops. If you do not abandon thoughts and actions like poison, With the sound of eight laughs saying "Ah la la," The aggregates of name and form will be turned into dust. Because I am the essence of the Sugata-garbha, Your (572) demons, transformed from the eight consciousnesses of grasping and fixation, I will liberate your consciousness into the expanse of Dharmata. Without a doubt, I will cut off the six root consciousnesses. From the pure Lotus Light realm of appearance and existence, With the ultimate truth of the Raksha skull garland, I send forth to the conventional demons transformed from ignorance. This concludes the twenty-fifth chapter of the Collection of Teachings. The teaching to the assembly of Bhutas, called "Padma's Last Testament." The pervasion of awareness, the Sugata-garbha, and the other-powered nature of the eight consciousnesses that pervade it. The general category of the eight classes of Bhutas that arise as illusory appearances from one's own mindstream, and in particular, those who have not seen the face of the teacher Buddha, who are bound by the oath of the second Buddha, the teacher, the fierce and stubborn types of Bhutas who do not know what to accept and reject of the white-sided virtuous ones, sudden epidemic ghosts, those who consider harming as Dharma, those who have strengthened the imprints of barbarian religions, and those who send teachings to wandering dead and living ghosts. The wheel of causality, imprints, and illusion, both definite and indefinite, the three realms of the path, and all sentient beings who wander in the six realms are mutually parents, relatives, and friends. If there is not even one who is not connected by love and hatred, then parents and relatives repay each other with harm. The teacher Buddha forbade both lesser and middling individuals. In particular, from the path of great individuals, the Bodhisattva Pitaka, knowing all sentient beings as the nature of parents, not distinguishing between enemies and friends, and the essence of that, cultivating the two Bodhicittas, and individually
