I, as stated in the condensed meaning of the common Samaya vows, the hundred thousand sections, and in the twenty-one others, and as the teacher Bhāviveka summarized the root vows into fourteen, all that is stained by transgressions is to be purified. Secondly, do not aim for anything other than this special Vajrasattva yoga. From the Secret General Tantra: "The single body of all Buddhas, the Vajra." This (Vajra) is the second ornament that makes the world beautiful. Āryadeva (提婆) destroyed the arrogance of false speech, brought them into and embraced the tenets of Buddhism, and composed countless treatises such as the Jataka Thirty-four, and is such a protector of the teachings. Focusing on the mind, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra as in the ritual, six times each day, reciting twenty-one times each time. In this way, downfalls and so on will be blessed, and will never increase. When one hundred thousand recitations are completed, through the good exposition of supreme accomplishment, one will be transformed into a completely pure self-nature. Thus it is said. The essence of the meaning is that in anything, one does not cling to the nature of awareness (རིག་), clarity and emptiness is the Vajra. Its self-nature appears but does not establish as true, hence it is Sattva (སེམས་དཔའ།). Its nature is clear emptiness or appearance emptiness inseparable, free from extremes, practicing in the great state beyond thought, this is the method of purification that is inseparable from samsara and nirvana. The second part is divided into three: confessing by seeing with faculties, confessing by meditating with intermediate faculties, and confessing with the actions of regret, confession, and lamentation with inferior faculties. The first part is divided into two: explaining the basis of the view, and abandoning the disputes of terminology. The first is that for those with superior faculties, who have cut off doubts about the meaning of the correct view, and for those yogis who have gained great stability, the sins to be confessed, the confessor, and the place of confession, all three wheels do not exceed the scope of complete purity. Moreover, when realizing the Great Perfection's own system, when establishing the primordial purity of awareness through debate, the realm is primordially pure, wisdom is primordially pure, faultlessness is primordially pure, the basis of liberation is primordially pure, the state of liberation is primordially pure, such distinctions are unavoidable. Moreover, the former two are harmed by the tenets of spontaneous accomplishment, and the latter two are the secret instructions of the oral teachings. The core of what is to be expressed here is the great primordial purity in the middle, or what is known as faultlessness, without abandoning the ignorance of the base and fruit.

To summarize the meaning of lacking, it is: the mind has not meditated outwards, awareness has not been bound inwards, it transcends the edges of both bondage and liberation, it is not deceived by the shackles of belief, it is primordially pure by its very nature, hence it is primordially pure. There is not even a hair's breadth of something to do in the mind, hence it is without action. It is free from the mind of meditation and grasping, hence it is free from mind. It exists naturally in its own state, hence it is uncorrected and relaxed. Gathering the inner path, hence it is (272) free. Meditating outwards, hence it is stopped. Bondage and liberation are originally pure, in that state, all gross and subtle appearances are self-liberated, the naked awareness is left bare, this is the view of the confession of the expanse. As the great Orgyen (Padmasambhava) said: "Hearing, thinking, striving, meditating, not meditating, without thought, etc., whatever is done is an artificial path, confessing to the uncorrected Dharmakaya expanse, the Dharma of doing does not lead to Buddhahood, the Dharma of mind binds oneself, whatever is fixated upon obscures the suchness, confessing to the non-fixated Dharmakaya expanse." Thus it is said. Secondly, some people think that the view of Dzogchen, expressed in words that represent the example lineage, is the same as the view of Heshang and Bonpo, and make this unbearable accusation. That is a word that nakedly reveals one's own faults in front of those who have attained the meaning of what is being represented, the lineage of wisdom intention. That is to say, saying that the Heshang system is unreasonable, gradually, all statements are the same. If it is understood that it is the same as the view of Mahasandhi, then one should first refute it by recognizing the faults of the Heshang system. Since his system is buried and does not exist, it is also an empty word. If one follows Acharya Kamalashila's refutation of the Heshang system, then the refuter himself also accepts the Svatantrika Madhyamaka. From the two who established the chariot tradition, those who have entered the lineage of profound view, following the commentators Buddhapalita and others, consider the view of the Svatantrika to be very impure, therefore there is no occasion for the refutation to be established. However, the one who said "non-attention", the chief ornament of the beautiful world, the son of the Brahmin with the topknot, the noble Nagarjuna, and the Brahmin woman Suprakasha Shila made the Buddha (273)
