Skill is the method of defeating enemies, which are the three skills of the body: generating virtue through history, generating laughter through speech, and suppressing the opponent through debate, which are the three skills of speech. Being intelligent and having vast wisdom, being brave and able to persevere, being articulate and unfathomable, these are the three skills of the mind. Likewise, a man. The so-called nine games: three of speech, writing, and arithmetic; three of archery, stone throwing, and jumping; three of racing, swimming, and strength. For the areas in which one is skilled, generating vines of pride, at the feast of distinguishing the ten realms, decorating with the sound of Tongqin instruments and the songs of joyful women, and giving all kinds of hopes and wishes. In this way, earnestly striving to complete the work, until the work is completed, pleasing the Vajra Dharma protectors through offerings and clouds of worship, and through the supreme Three Jewels, gazing with compassionate eyes from the assembly of the victorious ones like the ocean. The master of others' emanations, whose power and miraculous abilities are inconceivable, this is inherently immeasurable. Becoming small, not interested in one's own teachings, always wanting to learn but weary of desires, after hearing an unpleasant loud noise in one's own abode, thinking: Alas, in this final moment, I feel an unprecedentedly rough and sharp stinging thorn in my heart, whose power is this? In this realm of desire, there is nothing worthy of my trust. Now I am suffering hostility for no reason, who is riding on a chariot full of joy, wanting to destroy our abode? Thinking these things, my heart is uneasy, and I look in all directions. Now knowing that this is due to the power of the pure intention of the yogi Jigme Lingpa. Although wholeheartedly wanting to begin destroying the towering branches, due to the blessings of the Three Jewels and the gods, and the power of the great aspiration acting in Tibet has weakened. Thinking again: Could it be that I am being deceived by my own flowers?
