At that time, he met Sengge Gyawa Sangye Bonpo and received the pith instructions of the Heart Drop. Now, he developed the pride of being filled with instructions, and through meditation, he saw the face of Vajrasattva day and night for six days during the preliminary stage itself. During the main practice, he met the lineage lamas in dreams and received their blessings. At the age of twenty-three, he heard and practiced many terma teachings, including Vajravarahi, from Sangye Repa. As a result, he directly saw Vajravarahi. When he struck the rock with the secret vajra, it melted like mud. He saw Hayagriva, Tara, Avalokiteśvara, Guru Rinpoche, Samantabhadra, Vajrasattva, Vimalamitra, Zalungpa, Sangye Repa, and Dromgon Phagmo Drupa. In Dunglung, the sound of the dakinis was very melodious, and he received the prophecy of cutting off the stream of rebirth. In Kawa-chen, he saw the red Vajravarahi and the accomplished Zalungpa in the expanse of the sky. While residing in Ngarchung, he saw the five deities of Vajravarahi's mandala in a dream, and upon waking up, he directly saw the Vajravarahi of light. In Kyabne Dzong, Vajrasattva bestowed the empowerment of Dzogchen in a dream. In general, he relied on many lamas, among whom there were thirteen particularly outstanding lamas. The incomparable kindness came from the accomplished Zalungpa, Dobo Repa of Tsurphu, and he obtained the essential meaning from Trulshik Sengge Gyapa. This person's conduct was very intense, and because he adopted the behavior of a madman without acceptance or rejection, he was able to practice the vows of secret mantra literally. He saw six vultures soaring in the sky, and he took the courage of a crazy yogi, being able to walk in the sky and treat rocks like mud. He established the victory banner of practice and benefited beings in Khenpa Jong, Khenpa Ling, Sengge Dzong, and Khar Chu. His lifespan was thirty-seven years, but because a fortunate disciple named Kunga requested, he passed away at the age of sixty-one in Zhuzod Lakha, at which time everyone saw a great light with sound dissolving into the west.
