Moreover, it is through consciousness, wisdom, and mind that characteristics and bases are manifested. Wisdom regards knowable objects, and knowable objects examine beings. The mind that examines beings acts according to its own desires and so on. There is no conceptualization, and there is no consciousness. Likewise, those with conceptualization do not know. Thus it is said. Secondly, the characteristic of wisdom as the object of measurement is also that, due to the absence of the form of momentary continuity of mind-consciousness mixed with the wind of movement from the non-conceptual wisdom-awareness, it is said that all phenomena are comprehended in an instant. As it is said in the Manjushri Sutra: Great wisdom in an instant, holds all phenomena in comprehension. Thus it is said. Therefore, that special wisdom that does not lose the state of knowing the nature of reality has an aspect of awareness, so it is called the path of awareness, but since there is no movement of the mind that propels the wind and takes objects to mind, knowing that this is non-conceptual wisdom is one of the difficult places to realize, so the Victorious One said: Therefore, what is the difference between these two? Since the wise have not realized it, how can the foolish realize it? Thus it is said. It is also said in the science of valid cognition that the measure of distinguishing between mind and wisdom is when phenomena appear in various ways. Therefore, those who wish to understand the special basis of the Great Perfection must understand that the power of awareness propelled by the wind, appearing as grasper and grasped, is mind, and its power is mind and so on, transforming into the eight aggregates of consciousness and the fifty-one mental factors, extending the cause and effect of samsara into illusory appearances, and that this is the defilement to be abandoned. As it is said in the Entering Path: When the mind ceases, that is when the body manifests. Thus it is said. Having understood in this way, the manifestation of the special wisdom of the self-arisen ground is the nature of the heart of all Tathagatas, free from all movement, the state of suchness unchanged, becoming the basis for all aspects of knowable things, therefore it is not like an inanimate object, the essence of the Dharmakaya, primordially pure, has not moved from its own place, and that which possesses the nature of awareness burns all the firewood of samsaric self-nature ignorance and conceptualization, and even the memory of clinging to wisdom itself is a latent obscuration of knowable objects carrying the burden of mind, therefore it is wisdom without memory.

With wisdom that consumes samsara like fire, like the sky, reaching the other shore of nirvana, that is, in the Tantra of Clear Light, it says: The mind is separated from all actions, not like matter, it is the manifestation of knowing and awareness, burning all discriminations, wisdom itself consumes like fire, is the same as the sky itself, is the nature of emptiness, clarity, and awareness. Therefore, wisdom shows light, non-discriminating great compassion naturally manifests, pervades and is separated from everything, fulfilling all dharmas. Memory itself is non-memory, wisdom is separated from the basis of memory, wisdom itself is like this: it is the wisdom of the pure base, the characteristic is holding, now pervading everywhere. So it is said. Third, the two kinds of real lamps of the Clear Light path are: the far-reaching water lamp and the thigle emptiness lamp. Among them, the nature of the far-reaching is: in the mother's womb, when the first life is formed, relying on liquid, in the initially formed abdominal food residue, there are lamps and the eyes of the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space that are formed first. The eyes of the five elements generate the body, and the eyes of the lamp generate the root of the eye, the senses, and the essence of the light channels, three kinds, from the navel to the heart, from the heart to the side of the spine, and then from the inside of the two ears, the entanglement of the brain divides into three branches. That is to say, in the center of the pupil of each eye, there is a pulse root without blood and serum, like an inverted horn of a mandala, filled with the tip of light inside, and in the inside fixed in the eye, there are light channels, and one more in the middle is fixed in the Brahma hole, inside which there is continuous awareness without discrimination and bright thigle, overlapping five layers, manifesting nine kinds, having the components of the four lamps. The pulse tip is the water lamp, the thigle is the empty lamp, the five lights are the dharmadhatu, and the non-discriminating awareness is the component of the wisdom lamp, as said in the string of mani jewels: awareness is non-discriminating, continuous, manifesting from the door of great bliss Brahma hole. So it is said. The other two light channels collect the manifestation of wisdom light and the manifestation of thigle and body, etc., which is the component of the dependent nirvana. Its dependent colored senses collect the component of samsara, that is, the manifestation of illusion, therefore, abiding in the two components of the dependent and the depended, it is called the far-reaching water lamp.
