Because it is similar to the samadhi of absorption, although it does not obstruct the path, just by that aspect of conceptualization, it connects the external objects and the internal aggregates of consciousness, appearing as a mere illusion of grasping and being grasped. Therefore, it cannot stop until the exhaustion of dharmata. This should be understood from the perspective of experience. Therefore, in the lower vehicles, measured by the two truths, even if one refutes the truth of cessation with sharp analysis of words such as unborn and unceasing, and proves it with the four great reasonings of freedom from elaboration and the Middle Way, it is just futile speculation and consideration of emptiness, like hiding a sparrow in a hole and measuring it with clouds. Here, it is the way to ascertain that both appearance and awareness are without inherent existence. By recognizing that appearance is unborn, it surpasses the views of the Middle Way that does not abide in extremes. By recognizing that awareness-appearance is self-liberated, it surpasses the views of Mind-Only. By realizing that the elements are empty of substance, it surpasses the views of the Hearers. Thus, it directly reveals the nature of indivisible truth, without relying on perception and inference, so the difference in the path is like heaven and earth. Even within our own tradition, the profound teachings of the secret cycles and below are only similar to measuring awareness with examples, meanings, and signs. But this is like a wise person measuring the three supports, determining the characteristics of both the object and the basis. Otherwise, even if one sees the basis, one cannot determine the object, like a child looking at a temple. Similarly, the radiance of awareness in the bardo of dharmata and the illusory body of a deity formed by habitual conceptualization, although both resemble the form of a deity, there is a difference in whether they appear as pure lands and whether they can be liberated through recognition. Among them, the bardo of dharmata and the illusory body of habitual transference, although they are similar only in appearing as the form of a deity, the bardo of dharmata is the spontaneously accomplished pure essence of self-radiance that exists on the ground, appearing as a vision on the path. Therefore, it is liberated simply by recognizing its own nature, and it is vast. The deity form of the illusory body is an illusion of habitual conceptualization, so it still needs to go through the remaining part of the path. In particular, a samaya holder who enters this path does not cling to the enjoyment body that is encompassed by the visions of the ten bhumis. That example is established as the nature emanation body.
