For those to be tamed for the ultimate purpose, since they cannot judge in this way, they begin to seek the intermediate intention, therefore, the former and latter are considered to be manifestations of sharp and dull faculties, and it is only reasonable when the view is established through sharp analysis of hearing and thinking. However, the process of the backward-looking, intellectual view belonging to the realm of understanding, which increasingly enhances the ability to purify the way things truly are, has just been explained, so it can be well determined. Therefore, the unmistaken truth determined in this way does not exist on the path of words and letters, so in the mantra path, relying on blessings and means, one can realize it as it is in one's own continuum, therefore, the metaphors and meanings relying on purifying substances are also not confused, but abide in reality. As it says in the Explanation of Intentions Sutra: "The wheel and the two are separate, the wheel of Dharma turned by the Blessed One is unsurpassed, intermittent, and needs to be guided, and is the basis of controversy." Thus, it is established as provisional meaning. Finally, the third wheel of Dharma, which has excellent distinctions and is extremely rare and wonderful, was turned, and the wheel of Dharma turned by the Blessed One is unsurpassed, uninterrupted, and of definitive meaning, and is not the basis of controversy. This is clear. Some say, if that is the case, does the Tathagatagarbha exist in the realm of beings like matter, or does it exist like awareness? If it is the former, it is the same as the self of the heretics, because they do not believe that something without awareness exists in a tangible way, just as they claim that no one can see it. If it is the latter, then the Tathagatagarbha will become conditioned, because it is together with the eight aggregates of consciousness. If you say that, then the harm of the former does not exist, because the characteristic of existing invisibly with the three liberations is not understood by the heretics, so they measure it by size and do not consider it to be the Dharma of body and wisdom. As it says in the Lankavatara Sutra: "Great wisdom, my teaching of the Tathagatagarbha is not the same as the self spoken of by the heretics. Great wisdom, the Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas are emptiness, are the vast limit."

Furthermore, the meanings of terms such as Nirvana, unborn, without characteristics, and without aspirations are taught through the Tathagatagarbha. In order to dispel the fear of selflessness in children and to abandon those states, by revealing the door of the Tathagatagarbha, the state of non-conceptualization, the realm of non-appearance, is shown. Therefore, great wisdom, future and present Bodhisattvas should not cling to self. As it is said, the nature of the three doors of liberation here is taught as the Tathagatagarbha, which is completely liberated from conditioned existence. This is how it is taught. The second case is also not so, because the nature of the essence, like the sun, is free from all elaborations. What needs to be purified is the adventitious defilement, the nature of samsara, the eight aggregates of consciousness, including the alaya-consciousness, which exists in the clouds of grasping. In the Mantrayana path, it is purified by profound methods such as empowerment and generation-completion stages. In the Sutra Requested by Glorious Garland, it is said: "Bhagavan, the Dharmakaya of the fully enlightened Buddha, which has not been liberated from the clouds of adventitious defilements, is called the Tathagatagarbha." In particular, in Dzogchen, mind and mental events are pacified in the Dharmadhatu, the self-arisen wisdom free from elaboration is the great continuum of non-action and beyond mind, and by abiding in its own natural state without fabrication or alteration, the adventitious defilements of spontaneous appearance naturally clear themselves. As it is said in the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra: "Abiding in its own state, it is unmoving and spontaneously accomplished. Abiding in its own nature, no one can alter it. That which abides unalteredly as it is, is taught as the supreme of actions, inaction. To see one as two is mistaken meditation. There is no duality in the essence of one." If so, if one thinks that the defilements of the essence cannot be purified by acceptance and rejection, and that there is no difference from ordinary beings, then, as it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "Here, there is nothing to remove, nor anything to establish. In Suchness, see Suchness as it is. Seeing Suchness, one is liberated." As it is said, if one recognizes one's own nature, one will not be defiled by the defilements of the five aggregates, and therefore one is pure. Since it is not defiled in this way, the mind, including the eight consciousnesses, has no acceptance or rejection, and therefore the way of realization and manifestation will not change.
