Indeed. Some distinguish that once a line is drawn in the sky, it cannot be drawn on the ground afterward. According to this distinction, two five-colored lines and one single-colored line, a total of three lines, are needed. However, this contradicts the idea that both the sky and ground lines can be drawn with the same line. However, the master Sangye Sangwa believes that a line already used in another mandala is impure and therefore cannot be used. Furthermore, according to the custom of drawing the initial line first, if there is no spare line, the line for inviting the wisdom deity Vajramus (Tibetan: བཛྲ་མུས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रमुस्, Sanskrit Romanization: vajramus, Literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Kilaya) is called the second line. This line can also be soaked in five amritas and white mustard seeds. The term "used in another mandala" refers to situations where there are differences in work, action, ritual, or time. Because the term "other" does not apply to the earlier and later works of the same mandala. Therefore, neither of these two customs contradicts the intent of the tantras and oral instructions. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the specific differences in each case. First, the method of blessing is: according to the respective mandala rituals, the wisdom line is blessed with the five hero seed syllables, and the samaya line is blessed with the three seed syllables, making it the nature of body, speech, and mind. The method of drawing the line is: visualize the master and consort, or the two designated vajra brothers, as deities in union, and imagine that the nature of bodhicitta extends into the shape of a line, and be careful not to break the line, drop the line, make a mistake in direction, misplace the master's seat, have the disciple turn his back to the master, or step over the line. The Vajra Karma Sequence says: "If the line breaks, the master dies; if the direction is wrong, both are ruined; the lineage is cut off, harming the path; therefore, the wise should act with caution." Among these, the bad omens of the line are mainly observed when drawing the two Brahma lines. That is to say: "If a blessed line is stepped over, it is like slandering the body of the Sugata, moving away from the Buddha's teachings, therefore, lift it into the sky with the mudra of the syllable HRIH (Tibetan: ཧྲཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Shame)." This means that if the line cannot be crossed at will, and it is necessary to cross it, it should be lifted into the sky with the syllable HRIH (Tibetan: ཧྲཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Shame).

being willing to enter beneath it. Similarly, if one understands that directions such as east are merely conceptual constructs and lack inherent existence, then the fault of directional confusion will naturally be eliminated. Although the tantras explain three methods of drawing lines for mandalas, Darikapa says: "The yoga of circling from the left, in all forms, lines should be drawn. The water of the interstices is to the right." This means that the direction line circles from the left, and the interstice line circles from the right, which is more general for the whole from the perspective of dependent origination. Therefore, here, one relies on the lines of the deity's abode in the preparatory stage to identify without error, and since that is not necessarily the only purpose, for the sake of purposes such as invoking the holy ones, as a basis for creating the mandala, there are two methods of arranging clusters of scented water droplets on the mandala. According to the first method, it is necessary to draw the earth line at this time. According to the latter method, since the wisdom line precedes below, it is easier to engage in completing all the line work at once. Here, according to the appearance of those with conceptual minds, like the direction of the first image-making, the master faces east and the line-drawer faces west, so the lines are drawn in accordance with their respective traditions. Because the lines are for determining the characteristics of the palace, relying on the tradition of the great early translation tantras, from the three different arrangements of the mandala that are shown, first the nine-doored mandala of the Compendium of Sutras is to be explained. Regarding this, since the first essence to form is Brahma, the initial name of the line is also known as such. First, draw the east-west Brahma line, do not draw interstices from the center to the four directions, draw intersecting lines from the east-west dimensions, draw corner lines from the dimensions of the four directions, seek bird tracks and draw well. Divide the eight great lines into rows, the four sides of the Brahma line, measure from the seven equal parts, the first is the center wheel position, the remainder is divided equally into two parts, the inner eight petals are the eight inner doors, the outer is considered the outer door, each is divided into three, all the inner is the cloister, the middle discards the center and establishes the edge, it is the position of the wall, cushion, and pillar, the outer half is drawn, the outer is separated, it is the position of darkness, arrow shaft, and quiver, to the left and right of the eight inner doors, is the Brahma line.
