Knowing these, one will be liberated. So it is said. This should also be understood as the most important constraint on all mindfulness. Therefore, abandoning the five attachments is the main content of asceticism. The method of abandonment is called individual collection, although this is the term of this tantra. However, the perfection stage of not allowing the root doors to indulge in external objects, but truly collecting them inward, or abiding in the part of wisdom, is the general meaning of all of these. It is said in the Tantra Commentary: The meaning of the twenty-five ascetic practices of Vajrasattva, the lord of existence, is that vowing not to transgress the definite number of these twenty-five is a vow. It is called asceticism simply because one has attained the nature of the three doors (body, speech, and mind). Now, in order to explain the first of the two aspects, inner and outer, of the five-family vows, which are the common meaning of both the new and old tantras. In the tantras that have changed in the past and future, In the five-family vows that have become the common meaning, The Buddha Yoga aspiration enters the three precepts, Unmoving Vajra bell seal guru is held, Treasure-born Dharma wealth fearless love is given, Boundless Light Three Vehicles hold all Dharma teachings, Unfailing Accomplishment offerings praises activities all respect. Here, the generation of aspiration for entering the path and the three types of precepts, etc., are in accordance with the Bodhisattva grounds, so they are also common precepts. In general, entering a particular family does not mean that one does not need to protect the vows of the five families, but because one must pay special attention to the vows of the family to which one belongs, they are called the individual vows of the five families. Among them, the first is the Tathagata family, the vow of Vairochana: Generating the aspiration that I have become Vajrasattva and will also establish all sentient beings in this state, and then firmly holding the three precepts of abandoning evil deeds, gathering good dharmas, and benefiting sentient beings, thereby indirectly taking the entering vow. That is, the first makes the mind abide, the second matures the Buddha's Dharma in one's own continuum, and the third matures the continuum of others, which is the same as the Bodhisattva grounds. In particular, the precept of abandoning evil deeds that frees one from attachment to ordinary appearances, the precept of gathering good dharmas that collects illusory appearances into wisdom, the four activities of

Therefore, the sentient beings who engage in activities, the hidden meanings of the three specific precepts gathered by mantra vows, and the basis of all vows is refuge. Therefore, holding its field—the Three Jewels—is entering and gathering. As stated in the 'Summit Tantra': "Just as the protectors of the three times are certain in Bodhi, the unsurpassed Bodhicitta, I now generate this mind. The training of precepts, accumulating virtuous dharmas, the three precepts of benefiting beings, each firmly uphold. Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the unsurpassed Three Jewels, the vows arising from Buddha Yoga, from now on firmly uphold." Secondly, the vows of the Vajra family, the immovable family, are common to outer and inner tantras. From the tantras such as the Vajra bell, Vajra Dakini, etc., which are spoken of, possessing measure and characteristics, one visualizes oneself as the deity body of Vairochana, etc., believing it to be the Mahamudra and holding it. As stated in the 'Compendium Tantra': "He holds the Vajra, shakes the Dharma bell, with the vow of the great seal, blesses the essence to recite." The way to hold it from the perspective of mindfulness is: The wisdom of the Buddhas' minds, which is non-dual, does not change into anything, and is not destroyed by the distinctions of characteristics, etc., possesses the seven Vajra qualities, therefore it is Vajra, it is the nature of immovability. Its characteristic is to remember the essence of ultimate Bodhicitta, and to hold the symbolic Vajra. Similarly, the bell is also like this. "All have the nature of space, space also has no nature, the union of the equality of space, all excellence appears as equality." Believing that the sound of the bell proclaims this meaning and shaking it, and the result brought about by the sound is: Even if one's own mind is only the nature of space, but space also has no nature, therefore it cannot be measured by its metaphor, abiding in the non-conceptual wisdom that transcends conceptual thought, this is the nature of wisdom, holding the suchness of the ultimate bell. As stated in the 'Horse King's Play': "The nature of mind abides in space, but space does not abide in anything."
