Transmitted bliss is the complete non-realization of the way of abiding in nature. As it is said in the Accomplishment of Wisdom: "What is the bellows of the body, and the master who blows the bellows? Not seeing the difference between these, the yogi who sees this suppresses the function of the bellows." Therefore, the clarity that arises solely from the method of wind is prohibited. The bliss arising from the two faculties is: "That itself is said to be the evil condition of wisdom. The Victorious One has not said that it is great bliss." Great bliss is not non-conceptual; great bliss is always conceptual. What arises from itching in the armpits, why is that not great bliss? Therefore, the bliss that arises from the condition of bindu is considered ultimate, and this is prohibited. Well, then, is there no reason why all the tantras say "supreme and unchanging great bliss"? It is merely that abandoning the suffering of samsara and its parts, which arise from cause and effect and pervade existence, is labeled as great bliss. For example, in the realm of dharma, the two, cause and effect, of sin are absent, and that is labeled as virtue. In this way, the bliss that arises from method is conditioned, and because the nature of the conditioned is change, it is not ultimate with things. The Protector Nagarjuna said: "If nirvana were a real thing, nirvana would become conditioned. There is no thing that is not conditioned, nowhere at all." Even so, until the clinging to the truth of appearance is purified, the completion stage of bliss and clarity, etc., is a special condition of the path for the sake of the generation stage and for abandoning the conceptual thought of clinging to illusion, so it should not be abandoned until the path is complete. It is like not abandoning wet mud until the craftsman's tools are complete. As it is said in the Two Examinations: "The yogi of the generation stage meditates on the elaboration of the ascetic, meditates on the elaboration like a dream, and the elaboration itself makes non-elaboration." Therefore, the function of meditating on the generation and completion stages is that in the generation stage, meditating on the container as a palace, the appearance in the mind is very vast, such as the three thousand great thousand worlds, or merely the appearance of eye consciousness, viewing stones, mountains, and rocks as deities, and meditating on them as enjoying essence and goddesses.
