This is the antidote. In general, if one is born in the formless realm, there is no intermediate state (bardo), because its nature, the alaya consciousness, mainly abides in a state of non-indication. If one is born from the formless realm into the desire or form realm, there will be an intermediate state, because of the alaya consciousness and the rising of the afflicted mind. The secret meaning of the appearance of pure light and colors will not be discussed here for now, because there is a great difference in the way of traversing the path. Regarding the form of the body, some sutras say it is like the previous body, and some say it is like the body to be born in the future. Both of these are true, because they refer to the beginning and end of the duration of existence. Such a bardo is not a body with a coarse form, but is made up of wind and mind, connecting by the power of stable good deeds, and because the qualities of the path are very excellent, the characteristics and signs of the bardo are brought under control in practice. The fears of illusion, fire, water, wild animals, enemies, and demons, because there is no coarse body, there is no possibility of being harmed by them. Thinking this way and overcoming them, all illusions and fears will become devoid of inherent existence. In particular, meditating on the unreal as illusion, visualizing deities and palaces, gathering and abiding in samadhi in the completion stage, or when seeing parents in union and generating attachment and aversion, visualizing the guru as the parents and receiving empowerment, increasing the experience of bliss and emptiness, sealing it with the view of emptiness, remembering special pure lands, and using the key points of transference of consciousness (phowa), etc., will definitely block the womb door and evil rebirths. If one wants to focus on a specific need and obtain a special basis for a good rebirth, as stated in the "Union of Sun and Moon Sutra": "The body color of gods and humans is white, the light of pretas is like smoke, hell is like a stump, or like scattered black wool, animals are like blood-dyed, asuras are like sleet." It also says: "Gods and humans look upwards, asuras and animals are the same, pretas and hell look downwards." It also says: "Gods have palaces of jewels, asuras have delightful forests, with gatherings of males and females of their respective kinds. Humans in East Videha have lakes adorned with stallions and mares. In Jambudvipa in the south, inside a fine mansion, there are...

of male and female. The lake adorned with bulls and cows of the Western Continent, or the lake adorned with swans with unpleasant sounds. Because it appears in harmony with these, the intermediate state body has the ability to discern, therefore, from the center of Jambudvipa, the land where the teachings flourish, choose the womb of parents who have obtained a human body endowed with Dharma, and combine aspirations, and take birth with mindfulness and awareness. The sixth is the instruction of transference of consciousness. In general, do not mistakenly think that the meaning of the word "transference" is only the method of the consciousness emerging from the Brahma's aperture. The best transference is the nature of consciousness propelled by the conventional truth of rebirth, transferring into the clear light of the ultimate truth of death. The intermediate transference is transferring the body of wind and mind alone, which relies on the habitual tendencies of the false conventional truth, whether it is a dream or the intermediate state, into the deity form of the illusory body of the true conventional truth. Therefore, for those who have realized clear light and the intermediate state, the transference that needs to be taught immediately is not necessary. There are also three types of transference for ordinary people: transference through practice, forced transference, and transference of the body's key points. The first is: if relying on the breath, then one needs to be proficient in vase breathing, divided into superior, intermediate, and inferior. The actual practice of transference is as taught by each respective tradition. The common point is that through the interdependent arising of consciousness emerging from the nine doors, such as the eyes, the way in which each respective realm is accomplished is: if emerging from the Brahma's aperture, then reaching the abode of the vidyadhara, the Dakini realm (Tibetan: ཀྵུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: क्षुं, Sanskrit Romanization: kṣuṃ, literal meaning: क्षुं). Emerging from between the eyebrows, then reaching the form realm (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: huṃ, literal meaning: हुं). Emerging from the eyes, then reaching the human realm (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: huṃ, literal meaning: हुं). Emerging from the ears, then reaching the non-human realm (Tibetan: ཡུམ, Sanskrit Devanagari: युं, Sanskrit Romanization: yuṃ, literal meaning: युं). Emerging from the nose, then reaching the yaksha realm (Tibetan: ཡུམ, Sanskrit Devanagari: युं, Sanskrit Romanization: yuṃ, literal meaning: युं). Emerging from the mouth, then reaching the preta realm (Tibetan: སུ, Sanskrit Devanagari: सु, Sanskrit Romanization: su, literal meaning: सु). Emerging from the navel, then reaching the desire realm gods (Tibetan: ཀྵུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: क्षुं, Sanskrit Romanization: kṣuṃ, literal meaning: क्षुं). Emerging from the water passage, then reaching the animal realm (Tibetan: སུམ, Sanskrit Devanagari: सुम, Sanskrit Romanization: sum, literal meaning: सुम). Emerging from the anus, then being thrown into hell (Tibetan: ཀྵུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: क्षुं, Sanskrit Romanization: kṣuṃ, literal meaning: क्षुं). These are called the eight doors of samsara, and the way of blocking them with their respective colors or only with white letters is explained. After blocking in this way, since the Brahma's aperture may open prematurely, therefore, when actually applying it, eliminate that letter, and visualize the guru inseparable from the yidam deity in the space in front, and in its heart, accumulate twenty-one fierce "Hī" (Tibetan: ཧི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ही, Sanskrit Romanization: hī, literal meaning: ही) syllables in one breath, and practice the method of transference in coordination with the body's key points, and alternately practice returning to one's own position. After practicing in this way, karma.
