If we say, the ultimate Buddha is without partiality and bias, therefore it is without self-nature. In the 'Transcendent World' it is said: 'The Buddhas are all Dharmakaya, pure like the sky.' Because of this, the final wheel of Dharma abides in the nature of the complete purification of the three wheels, therefore this is the Buddha. To think that this is his activity is still not free from the prison of dualistic appearance. Now, to regard the qualities of the Rupakaya, which are based on divisions and aimed at benefiting others, as the ultimate goal to be attained, contradicts the Mahayana Vajracchedika, which says: 'Those who see me in form, and seek me in sound, are on the wrong path, and cannot see the Tathagata.' In this way, after knowing the abiding state of the Vajra body, focusing on hitting the key point, aiming at easily realizing the abiding state of the essence of the self-fruit, is the way to learn the two methods of means. Thus, after knowing the abiding state of the Vajra body and the abiding state of the original ground, Tummo and the illusory body, or the diligent light and Bardo, and the six transformations, etc., are accomplished by the effort of the individual, and do not depend on other conditions, therefore it is the self-body method. Among them, there are two: the self-body method and the reliance on the other-body consort. The first is that the root of the path is Tummo, the basis is the illusory body, the warmth is dream practice, the essence is clear light, the weariness is Bardo, and the determination is transference of consciousness. These six are accomplished only by one's own effort and do not depend on other conditions, so it is called the self-body method. Among them, the first is the Tummo of the secret empowerment path. In the preliminary stages, first make one's own mind suitable, the key points of the body are the seven dharmas of Vairochana, as Longchen Rabjam said: 'The feet are in the vajra posture, the two hands are in equipoise and crossed, the body is straight like an arrow shaft, the arms are stretched out like the wings of a garuda, the neck is contracted like a fine bow, the key point of the body is like a pig floating on a boat, the eyes and the tip of the nose, the mind and the tip are aligned.' Thus, or with a relaxed lotus posture, in the state of clearly visualizing the deity of the completion stage as an illusion of emptiness and clarity, practice emptiness, the three channels.

Clearly set the chakras and arrange the sequence of letters such as A, Ka, Tsa, Tsa, Da, Pa, Ya, Sha, etc., upon them. Become skilled in eliminating wind disorders and in the timing of wind movements, such as the wind of co-emergent wisdom. Become skilled in the four key points of inhalation, joy, suppression, and ejection. Focus on the wind of the four elements, like a rainbow. Prevent the faults of wind scattering. Prolong the duration of staying within the confined space. Know the battle of burning and dripping bindus. Know the arising, dissolving, and abiding of the three, like the Vajra recitation. By familiarizing yourself with and practicing these key points of oral instructions, when the signs of the wind entering the central channel appear, co-emergence will occur during meditation. Abiding in this will generate qualities, and the coarse breathing through the nostrils will cease. Upon dissolution, the breathing through the nostrils will shift elsewhere, to the point where the hairs in the nostrils do not move, and so forth. If the wind sinks or scatters, this may occur; as a sign, if it sinks, the object of focus is unclear; if it scatters, qualities will not arise. By distinguishing these differences, single-pointed focus, like threading a needle, is crucial for everything. Therefore, from the state of wind essence and union, understand the methods for accomplishing single-pointed samadhi, such as the yoga of subtle bindus, according to the ascertainments of the tantras and oral instructions. After meditating in this way, the signs that appear are: earth dissolving into water, resulting in mirages; water dissolving into fire, resulting in smoke; fire dissolving into wind, resulting in the appearance of the sky; when wind tends to dissolve into perception, a lamp appears; at the actual time of dissolution, emptiness appears; when perception dissolves into increase, extreme emptiness appears; when increase dissolves into near attainment, great emptiness appears; when near attainment dissolves into clear light, all emptiness or clear light dawns. Similarly, cherish the characteristics of the four joys arising from burning and dripping, and the co-emergent wisdom that accompanies them. Afterwards, the exercises for finding the body's knots, and the sequence of suppression and taming of the body, become key points related to timing. Moreover, forcibly suppressing with violent exercises, merely producing superficial, temporary qualities, is of little use, because its nature is full of obstacles and unstable. Whichever path of channels, winds, or bindus, at the end of all sessions, combine with gentle wind.
