Although it is only on the ground, the activity of the ritual thread must be done on both the sky and the ground. Some distinguish that after drawing the ritual thread in the sky, it is not allowed to draw it on the ground, so two five-colored threads and one single-colored thread, a total of three threads, are needed. But this contradicts the fact that both the sky and the ground use the same thread to draw the ritual thread. However, Master Sangye Sangwa believes that the thread that has been used in other mandalas is not allowed because it is impure. In addition, in the rule of drawing the ritual thread first, if there is no separate thread, then the thread that invites the wisdom deity Vajramus (Tibetan: བཛྲ་མུས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रमुस्, Sanskrit Romanization: vajramus, literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Peg) is called the second thread. It can also be blessed with five ambrosias and white mustard seeds. The "other" used in other mandalas refers to differences in work, action, ritual, or time. Therefore, the previous and subsequent work of the same mandala cannot be called "other." Neither of these two methods contradicts the intention of the tantra and oral instructions. Therefore, it is necessary to determine their respective necessities. First, the method of blessing is: bless the wisdom thread with five hero seed syllables, and bless the samaya thread with three seed syllables, making it the nature of body, speech, and mind. Perform according to the ritual of each mandala. The method of drawing the thread is: the master and consort, or the two designated Vajra brothers, visualize themselves as the deity body, and from the point of union, extend the nature of bodhicitta into the shape of a thread, and be careful not to break the thread, drop the thread, lose direction, the master's seat should not be wrong, the disciple should not turn his back to the master, and do not cross the thread. The Vajra Karma Sequence says: "If the thread breaks, the master dies, if the direction is wrong, both are harmed, the lineage is cut off, and the path is harmed, so the wise should act cautiously." Among them, the bad omens of the thread are mainly observed when drawing the two Brahma threads. That is to say: "If you cross the blessed thread, it is like slandering the Buddhas, distancing yourself from the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, with the Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, literal Chinese meaning: Shame) mudra.

One should enter. If it is necessary to prevent the lines from lacking autonomy, then one should be willing to enter under the sky, raised by the sound of the seed syllable "ཧྲཱི" (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: sha). Similarly, if one understands that directions such as east are merely conceptual constructs and do not inherently exist, then the fault of directional confusion will also be naturally eliminated. Although the tantras explain three ways of drawing lines, Darika says: From the left, the union of circling, in all forms, lines should be drawn. The water of the intermediate directions is to the right. This means that the directional lines circle to the left, and the intermediate lines circle to the right, which is more applicable to general situations from the perspective of interdependence. Here, first, one accurately identifies the deity's position line of preparation without confusion, and it is not necessarily for this single purpose, but aiming for the basis of creating a mandala, like descending a request, in two ways: arranging clusters of scented water drops on the mandala. According to the first way, it is necessary to draw the earth line at this time. According to the latter way, the wisdom line precedes below, so all the work of drawing lines can be completed at once, which makes entry easier. Here, if explained according to the appearance of those with conceptual minds, according to the first direction of drawing, the master faces east, and the line drawer faces west, so the lines are drawn in accordance with the self-tradition of each lineage. Because the lines are used to determine the characteristics of the palace, relying on the tradition of the great ancient translation tantras, three different mandala arrangements are shown, and first, the nine-doored mandala of the Compendium Sutra will be explained. Because the first essence formed is Brahma, the name of the first line is also known as such. First, draw the east-west Brahma line, do not draw intermediate lines from the center to the four directions, draw intersecting lines from the east-west dimensions, draw diagonal lines from the dimensions of the four directions, seek bird tracks and draw well. Divide the eight great lines into grids, the four sides of the Brahma line, measure into seven equal parts, the first part is the wheel position of the center, the remaining are divided into two equal parts. The inner eight are the inner doors, the outer ones are considered outer doors, each divided into three parts. All the inner parts are the halls, the middle ones discard the center and set the edges, are the positions of the walls, curtains, and decorations, the outer ones are drawn halfway.
