What need is there to say more? How could it not be beyond the world? Thus it is. So, what is related to the path that transcends the world? Here, it is related to the path of peace. The object of focus is all sentient beings. From the nature of phenomena that appear but are without inherent existence, from the manner of meditation becoming powerful, it becomes the cause for the arising of the two bodhicittas. It is considered the four immeasurables with distinct characteristics. In this way, although the aspect of the object of focus arises as the four, such as love without nearness or hostility towards all sentient beings, it is the nature of phenomena that appear but are without inherent existence, reversing from the characteristics of clinging to truth and viewing as an entity, having grasped the calculation of illusion-like, that is the cause for the arising of the two bodhicittas. The Bhagavan said that enlightenment is because of the nature of space. Therefore, after seeing one's own mind exactly as it is, then through skillful means, focusing on the minds of all sentient beings will occur. Thus, in the "Essential Bodhicitta Meditation" by the teacher Hero, the "Jewel Lamp" says: How the phenomena that appear and are proclaimed, are not established and true in that way. Because they change into various things, like the various forms of magical illusions. Without essence, like the sky. Because they arise only from interdependence, they are also not completely non-existent, like cause and effect in a dream. Truth is not established, falsehood does not revert. Thus it is. Such four immeasurables also, the method of meditation has order and no certainty. The object of focus is placed on what is easy to arise. The ordinary explanation of this is that it has a definite order. In the Intermediate Mother Sutra, it says: "Subhuti, the bodhisattva mahasattva should meditate on great love, great compassion, great joy, and great equanimity." Thus it is. In mantra, it is also said in conjunction with the suchness of the deity, in the Two Examinations Tantra: "First, one should meditate on love. Second, one should meditate on compassion. Third, one should meditate on joy. And finally, equanimity for all." Thus it is. What is not certain is that following the Ornament of Madhyamaka, etc., there is also a sequence of first extracting equanimity, which is the object of focus that is easy to arise. First, eliminate attachment and anger towards all sentient beings, and cultivate mental equanimity.

It is for the sake of realization. Thus, in the practice of relative Bodhicitta by the teacher Hero, it is also said: First, the immeasurable mind, with equanimity, the ground is well leveled, with the nectar of loving-kindness, it is completely sprinkled, with the yoga of great joy, the seeds of compassion are well planted. As it is said, it is combined with what is easy to arise. The reason for being able to combine is this: these immeasurables also arise from four conditions, namely, the lineage that naturally exists in the realm of sentient beings is the causal condition. The virtuous friend who indicates the limit of the four is the dominant condition. The manifestation of each of their objects is the objective condition. The benefit of practicing in this way and the habituation of the faults of not practicing is the immediately preceding condition. As it is also said in the Ornament of the Sutras: From the nature of happiness and suffering, arises the loving-kindness of the Bodhisattva; from the nature of cause and virtuous friend, arises the compassion of the wise. In particular, these aspects of objects that are related like mind and mental factors are generated by the four conditions such as the dominant condition during samsara. The causal condition, the dominant condition, and the immediately preceding condition generate the two types of meditative absorption. The aggregates, etc., are considered to be generated from their respective causes and the dominant conditions such as heat and moisture. The Abhidharma-kosa says: The four conditions generate mind and mental factors, the three conditions generate the two types of meditative absorption, and the others are generated from these two. Also, for the antidote that purifies and liberates in order, however, when cultivating loving-kindness becomes the basis of attachment, it is transformed into cultivating equanimity that is free from near and far. If cultivating loving-kindness is seen as a category like relatives and friends and becomes the basis of attachment, cultivating equanimity becomes its antidote. When that itself is ignorant and becomes unspecified, it is transformed into compassion, preventing the cause and effect of suffering. If the mind of equanimity falls into an unspecified state that is not beneficial, then great compassion arises for the state of sentient beings engaging in the cause of suffering and being tormented by the result, thereby preventing inferior equanimity and happiness. When the power of compassion is weak and limited to categories, it is transformed into joy, preventing inferior mind and birth.
