Having attained both the bodies of higher gods and humans, with that basis, one perfects the two accumulations, benefits others, generates the four immeasurables, and how even through carelessness or unpleasant circumstances, that mind cannot be taken away. As the Ornament of the Sutras says: "Those who dwell in the abode of Brahma, the wise always arise with desire. There, they perfect all accumulations, and also fully ripen sentient beings. Always inseparable from Brahma, they are separated from their unfavorable aspects. Even if they become careless, they will not be changed by unpleasant circumstances." Furthermore, the ultimate fruit of definite goodness, the attainment of enlightenment, is also as the Ornament says: "Abandoning harm is the seed of supreme enlightenment, generating happiness and causing suffering is the cause of desire. Relying on the Dharma, which ripens the essence of reality, enlightenment is not far for the bodhisattvas." Thus, abandoning harm is the separation result, acting as the seed of enlightenment is the self-mastery result, enduring suffering while practicing self-joy for the sake of benefiting others is the action result. By familiarizing oneself with these four, in other lifetimes as well, they will ripen and be accomplished in the same way, which is the result of similarity. This is explained according to the words and meanings of the sutras. If explained directly according to our own tradition, the action result of similarity is that one always arises in the cultivation of the four immeasurables, and the experiential result of similarity is that one touches the happiness of being separated from unfavorable aspects such as harmful thoughts, various harms, attachment, hatred, joy, and so on. As for the result of power, loving-kindness makes one pleasing, compassion makes one happy, joy makes one rejoice because of the abundance of medicinal trees, flowers, and so on, and equanimity allows one to enjoy a land where beings are harmonious and there is no discord. The action result is that by cultivating the four immeasurables, the four actions of each greatly increase, and for the bodhisattvas, they naturally and constantly arise, as well as arising from familiarity, arising from seeing objects, and arising from the decline of unfavorable aspects, as the Ornament says: "The loving-kindness of those who possess compassion, naturally and through individual examination, as well as having previously cultivated familiarity, and having obtained the purity of the decline of unfavorable aspects, are the four." Thus, one obtains vast merit from this, and for one's own benefit, all happiness and goodness are accomplished, and also for the benefit of others.

Merits are obtained effortlessly in accordance with the characteristics of the rituals. The special result is: With love perfected, cherishing beings like children; without hatred, pleasing to others; the essence of love, emptiness without inherent existence; obtaining mirror-like wisdom, the perfect enjoyment body. Therefore, the stream of love moistens the mind, cherishing all beings like a mother cherishes her only child, and the rough flames of hatred are forever extinguished. The mother's love for her child is also the power of love, so all beings gather under my control and become pleasing. When one's own mindstream is imbued with love, there is no place for hatred to dwell. If the essence of love is examined, it is without inherent existence, so mirror-like wisdom manifests, and the perfect enjoyment body, the nature of the ocean of signs and examples, is obtained. It is said: Love eliminates the place for hatred, mirror-like wisdom, perfect enjoyment. With compassion perfected, the suffering of others also becomes my burden, a mind free from harm. Free from attachment, emptiness is linked to compassion, discriminating wisdom accomplishes the Dharma body. When a mother sees her beloved young child afflicted with a severe infectious disease, she experiences the suffering with a mind that is in harmony with it, and apart from seeking a way to relieve the child's suffering, she even forgets about eating. Similarly, when one enters into a state of equanimity towards all beings, one obtains the name of great compassion. Therefore, the mind of harming is completely purified, and the root of all that harms and torments beings due to being overcome by attachment is severed. The essence of compassion is also linked with emptiness, so discriminating wisdom accomplishes the Dharma body. It is said: Compassion eliminates the place for attachment, discriminating wisdom, the Dharma body. With joy perfected, the root of jealousy is cut off, wealth is stable, and peace and happiness never cease. Meditative joy and without object, accomplishing wisdom, obtaining the supreme emanation body. Joy is the state of mind without pain, one's own mindstream is not stained by the faults of wrongdoing,
