Neither is it permanent, nor is it impermanent; the world has an end, the world has no end; it is both with an end and without an end; it is neither with an end nor without an end; the Tathagata exists after death, the Tathagata does not exist after death; the Tathagata both exists and does not exist after death; the Tathagata neither exists nor does not exist after death; what is life is the body, and life is different and the body is different. These fourteen questions should not be answered if asked, because they cannot pacify their minds, so do not think about them. The Suhrllekha says, 'The fourteen unrevealed things in the world, what are they that the Kinsman of the Sun has well spoken? One should not think about them, for they do not pacify this mind.' Thus it is said. So, what should one think about so that all things that are in accordance with the path to enlightenment will arise? These twelve limbs of dependent origination are to show that the Buddhas are speakers of truth, and are the treasury for establishing all the limits of suchness of the Dharma. Ignorance is the root of all phenomena, from which arise formations, consciousness, name and form. From that arises the six sense spheres, from that arises contact, from that arises feeling, from that arises craving, from craving arises grasping, from grasping arises existence, from existence arises birth. If there is birth, then one is afflicted by desire, and because of sorrow, old age, death, etc., a very large aggregate of suffering is established. When birth ceases, everything ceases. This profound cause and effect of dependent origination is the treasury of the speech of the Buddhas who speak the truth. Having said that, formations are conditioned by ignorance, consciousness is conditioned by formations, and name and form are conditioned by consciousness. Connecting in this way, old age, sickness, death, sorrow, lamentation, crying, discomfort, and all the great aggregates of suffering arise from the condition of birth. Therefore, the Suhrllekha says, 'Birth is not good; birth is a vessel of many harms; know this.' Thus, and so on.

As spoken. Thus, if that very dependent arising that arises from the principle is reversed, birth will cease. When birth ceases, this mass of suffering, such as aging and death, will cease. Similarly, when birth ceases, existence will cease, and when ignorance ceases, actions will cease, up to that point. Ignorance is, although the sutras teach things like "not knowing the limits of the past," in reality, not knowing the truths of the wisdom of individual self-awareness is truly ignorance in the ultimate sense. The virtuous, non-virtuous, and unwavering actions associated with that childish ignorance are the actions caused by ignorance. As it is said in the Root Wisdom, "Because ignorance obscures, there is rebirth, the three forms of action, go to the realms of action." That is it. Whatever actions are done by actions, they go to any form that is in accordance with them, and the consciousness that arises from that is consciousness. In the sutra, it is said in the manner of showing the cause by the result, "Consciousness is the six aggregates of consciousness." Thus it is said. The consciousness of ripening is not to show its own nature in a subtle way, but to show its fruit. That consciousness also, when entering its own path, enters into the part where sperm, blood, wind, and mind are combined, and from this, whatever order the actions cause the manifestation of name and form, etc., to be accomplished, only that order of abandonment becomes the cause, therefore it is said that name and form are conditioned by consciousness, up to feeling is conditioned by contact. Name and form are, from the moment of conception in the mother's womb, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness, the four non-material aggregates are name, and the form that is made of the elements as the cause is form. Among them, the four aggregates are name because they go to the object and lead to the next life. The form made of the elements as the cause is form because it causes changes due to heat and cold, etc. The name and form themselves gradually increase, and the stage of gradually giving rise to eyes and ears, etc., is birth.
